I think my adrenals are wrecked. What should I do?
And do you think it's okay for me to go to H&B looking for adrenal/cortisol support tablets or even
DHEA
this morning? Thanks

First Endo app and birth control pill??
My doctor has referred me to see an Endo after seeing my results from private tests showing my
DHEA
is very very low at 0.03 and my cortisol is borderline high with 2 out of 4 samples showing high. I presume the endo will want to test my hormone levels?

Has anyone had a 'withdrawal' from dhea? It seems have caused my adrenals to crash (again). What next?.....
I've tried a few things (B vits, ginseng, nutri adrenal) and added
dhea
to the mix on the advice of my dr (off the list). As I increased the
dhea
I got really irritable (bordering on the mental) and acne. Nice. So I reduced my dose by half to about 5mg a day.

Cortisol/DHEA test that does not require referral?
I tried to buy a test from Geneva Diagnostics but they need a practitioner number and I don't have one. Are there any places that will sell tests to individuals without the middle man?

Just got adrenal saliva test results back but don't know what they mean - can anyone help me interpret?
Sample 2: 0.21 Sample 3: 0.19 (both of these are highlighted in red and state L for low but not sure what the range is but I think they've worked out the mean of both below)
DHEA
(Mean) 0.20 (range is 0.40-1.47)
DHEA
: Cortisol ratio 0.70 (range 2.0-6.0) If anyone can shed any light on these as I'd

Hashimoto's, Pernicious Anemia, and Headaches..Help!!
I was started on 2 grains of NDT and 5mg B12 sublingual as well as B6, a multivitamin, reacted iron,
DHEA
and progesterone. I was already on 10,000IU of Vitamin D daily. Before my diagnosis I was getting these horrible muscle spasm headaches that would send me to the hospital.

What do you think about 24hr urine tests for cortisol (adrenals) vs 24hr saliva cortisol tests?
When I did the 24hr saliva samples, my cortisol and
DHEA
were below the norm in the morning, higher than norm at lunch and much higher than the norm at midnight.

MY journey and tips on feeling well
Your
DHEA
is low so you may require more testosterone and more Thyroxin. Incidentally this is for men.
