Dhea and Ivf advice please
Disappointed is an understatement but considering taking
Dhea
and consider another cycle before Fet. I am so exhausted by this and would love to hear if it worked for you. It's been a hard journey.

Anyone tried adrenal supplements? Any feedback please?
Also on
DHEA
as part of HRT. No diagnosis. Awaiting private consultation. I suspect hypo and hashi as bloods in normal range but TS4 and 3 low and so are vitamins. It could also be a pituitary problem I think but my mind gets a bit scrambled with everything. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks

Adrenal cortex and DHEA supplementing
My recent saliva test showed low
DHEA
(91 - range 106-300) and low cortisol levels (Diurnal cortisol pattern is consistent with evolving (Phase 2) HPA axis (adrenal gland) dysfunction.)

Low appetite
On HRT including
DHEA
. So, my appetite has been on the wane, probably since menopause and thyroid problems began. It’s been so gradual I haven’t really noticed tbh and I struggle to lose weight due to everything running slow which I now know is another hypo symptom.

Weak Eggs. Causes. no blastos. WHY?
So gutting I am 39 and a half with FSH around 8 and AMH 2.2 I am now taking more vitamins including COq10 (not sure about
DHEA
so not doing that one) I have cut out all carbs. I am no sugar and no alcohol. Ive read it starts with the egg.

Period worry. Unusual. Which should I count as day one?
I skipped two days of
dhea
(only taking a 25mg but heard it can delay period) and on the second day started light bleed at 10pm (barely noticeable on tissue) (three days late) The next morning it started only slightly heavier and I then had quite a large dark red black clot the following morning

Run out of DHEA 4 days before retrieval, buy more?
Hi all, I am going to run out of
DHEA
3-4 days before my egg retrieval and the amount I have (8 pills or so) means I need to go down to 50mg a day not 75mg to make it last as many days as possible. I know this is my own fault for being disorganised and not checking the bottle, pfft.

Some advice please
I had a DUTCH test which confirmed adrenal issues - low cortisol and low
DHEA
. I have been working on supporting my adrenal glands since December, focused on improving bowel movement and detoxification, as my Oestrogen levels are very high and I have lots of Oestrogen dominant symptoms.

Hello everyone, DHEA results, could anyone advise?
In addition, my FD has suggested taking a
DHEA
supplement as my saliva
DHEA
last year was lowish (87) so I had my blood
DHEA
tested and these are the results : 3 umol / L (ref range 1.65 - 9.15) As like all my results (🙄) it seems to be low but within 'normal' ranges so could anyone give

second time lucky ?
And folic acid (methylfolate) I took 25 mg
dhea
from October - December. I have tried to be more active ( yoga at least twice a week) and have a good diet with increased protein, low/no carb, sugar and alcohol. These changes have been for well over three months.

My first endocrinologist visit
Comprehensive metabolic panel Aldosterone Renin Cortisol (baseline) ACTH (baseline)
DHEA
Will these tests even reveal anything if I'm on 7 mg pred? Was he correct in ordering them? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated, as I'm a bit worried he doesn't know what he's doing.

stage 3 adrenal insufficiency
My
dhea
has dropped to 44. This is all much worse than a year ago, sorry I don’t have the numbers to hand. Might post tomorrow when not feeling so terrible. my question is, I’ve been reading that levo and t3 contra indicated with low adrenal function.
