Blood Tests back this week - need suggestions please if they are all ok.
Thanks to you all on here I have got through the first hurdle of having some tests done.(Undiagnosed for years and have most of hyperthyroid symptoms). Going back for results this week and would appreciate suggestions on how to deal with my GP if they are all within range. I have had bad experience

wheat glucose syrup
Waitrose are declaring there is wheat in glucose syrup. I have never seen this before. And I thought there was denial by some that glucose syrup was okay. Eating products with glucose syrup was one of my symptoms but it was always dismissed as being problematic. http://www.waitrose.com/shop/ProductView

Urinary metabolomics reveals glycemic and coffee associated signatures of thyroid function in two population-based cohorts
One of the fundamental questions about thyroid hormones is precisely what they do. Even from where we are today, with unbelievably sensitive techniques for investigating biochemical pathways, we end up saying things like "thyroid hormone affects metabolism". That sort of approach, whilst fundamentally

Diabetes Query
I do not understand the significance of glucose readings. For instance, what does readings over 6.1 mean and what if a reading was in the late teens?

Levothyroxine therapy and impaired clearance are the strongest contributors to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
Minding your own business, thinking about not very much, pretty mindless television program on, click a button and WOW! A new paper, which is freely accessible, pointing its finger very clearly at levothyroxine as one of the strongest contributors to a specific gut issue - SIBO. So many people here

They said I had the autoimmune

My 19yr old son again! All cortisol saliva test results are HIGH. No support whatsoever from GP!!
I have written 3 months ago about my son who is 19yrs old. I am still struggling to help him and the GPs are totally rubbish and negligent tbh! I have since had his Cortisol and DHEA tested by Genova Diagnostics. I am now trying (and struggling) to understand what to do next! CORTISOL LEVELS Sample
