Hello! I’m Ali, recently (January) diagnosed with progressive relapsing MS. It’s been a huge learning curve to manage the slew of symptoms and my new normal. But it’s worth the fight when I’m enjoying time doing something I love. I am married to a wonderful Navy sailor and we have 2 kids. Ryan is 12

Even more fed up..
I wrote a post on here a few days ago about my ongoing diagnosis - I was told IBS but after seeing people's experiences on here and with similar symptoms I thought I would go back to my GP for advice on endometriosis and push for this diagnosis. After my appointment today,I wish I never went as it has

So fed up 😞
Hi everyone! I am in desperate need of some advice and just someone to talk to really. I apologise for the long post. 6 months ago I experienced some abdominal pain which came on suddenly accompanied with nausea, back and leg pain as well as this feeling that I could not empty my bladder fully. 5 years

Big blood clot
I’m waiting for my laparoscopy to look for endo, meanwhile my GP put me on Depo Provera (I’ve been on it for a year before) to manage my pain for my periods. Ive still suffered the same daily sharp pains and dull aches. I’m currently on day 13 of my period. It’s acrually got heavier and more painful

What can I expect at first Rheumy appt?
Hi all! I’m usually on the MS board but it turns out I probably have RA as well. Both my knees puffed up so bad 2 weeks ago I coundn’t even stand, much less walk. I got a steroid shot and some medrol for 5 days. Since then my wrists, ankles, finger and toes have been very painful and sometimes puffy.

So frustrated over DMT & symptoms
I have tried to stay positive when possible. My latest frustration..since January I've had numb legs, back pain & slightly burning feeling, brain fog & numbing. I was in the weening off Tysibri stage, only using Copaxone -3x's a week & getting 3 Solumedrol infusions every 4 wks. This for me was a disaster

Herniated Disc MicroDiscectomy
I was then given
depo
-
medrol
injections in my back near the disc area and buttock hoping to reduce the inflammation and this injections instantly killed my muscles which were holding my back together and made the condition worse for me.

Newbie...Possible Adenomyosis (or Endometriosis or Fibroids)!
Hello, I'm new here and wondering if there are any who have had a similar situation to me. I am 43, had severely painful and long and heavy periods in my teens and 20s. Went on Depo Provera in my 30s for 5 years which was amazing. No pain, no period, no migrained. Came off it and still no pain or migraines

Migraines
I just got some solumedrol done last night do to migraines. One of my lesions have doubled in size. My doctor doesn't know for sure if the migraines are from my lesion or if I am having a relapse. Getting some more sulomedrol for a couple more days.

New Medicine
I am in Italy and a friend with Crohn's told me about a new medicine called Cortiment 9mg, Budesonide. It is a class of corticosteriods. He says it has very little side effects. Has anyone ever heard of this and could it be used to treat PMR? I am currently on 6 mgs of Medrol and would love to lose all

How long after a course of steroids do you notice an effect?
So I had a 3 day infusion of Solumedrol. Last dose on Saturday. And today, Wednesday, I'm feeling almost human (I am so grateful whatever the reason, but is this the steroids or just coincidence?) 🙏🌈😊

Diagnostic lap appointment then what..
I’ve never had regular or what by any means any one who knows me would call a ‘normal’ period, I started around the age of 13/14 and they have always been extremely heavy.. I could bleed for a week have a couple of days off and go back to a period, or I could bleed for two weeks and the discomfort wouldn

GP appointment
How do you get one?!? I can’t ever get past the receptionist. For the 3rd time in 6 wks I’ve had a chest infection that has quickly become nasty. On Tuesday I turned up and tried to demand an appointment and I got a letter from the practice to say my behaviour was inappropriate and won’t be tollerated

Medrol injection
I had a Medrol injection early December and it was brilliant. I started hydrochloroquine end of Dec but symptoms started creeping back in during February. 4 days ago I had a 2nd injection, but i don’t feel it has been as successful. My fingers have gone down but first finger isn’t perfect. Toes are now

Help - 2nd Lap to diagnose
Hi all, Just to tell you my story, I am 29 and we don't have children yet. My mum suffered with stage 4 endometriosis since she was 24 and has just had a full hysterectomy. I have always has all of the signs of endo since being 12 years old. I started my periods at 12 years old and these were excruciating

Depo Medrol shot for Flare
Instead of raising my steroid dosage my dr gave me a
Depo
Medrol
shot. I was brand new in 2 days. She wants me to stay at 4mg for 2 months. Lesson learned 😞

Laproscopy or just treatment?
I have suspected for a while that I might have endometriosis and after discussing it with my doctor on Monday she also thinks it sounds probable. She has said I can either go for a laproscopy or can just treat as though it is endometriosis. I can’t used the combined pill due to having had a couple
