Migraines

I just got some solumedrol done last night do to migraines. One of my lesions have doubled in size. My doctor doesn't know for sure if the migraines are from my lesion or if I am having a relapse. Getting some more sulomedrol for a couple more days.

Kelly, they used to say that migraines aren't connected to Ms. I think they are finally wising up. I've found that I have fewer migraines after I've had solumedrol. Hope it helps you.

Many times for 3 days. My first exacerbation, at diagnosis, had it in the hospital for five days.

So many of us have a history of migraines. I sure hope you get relief!

Thank you! It seems to be regularly now it use to not be like that. Before I noticed when I first wake up a splittng headache I would always drink coffee first to see if that is what I needed. But half the time I needed to get ibuprofen.

Hope it works for you. I just started having migraines over the last year and they are horrible when I get them. This crazy weather also triggers different headaches for me too. Ugghh, sometimes just can't win for anything

Right now my current neuro has me on Topamax. Previously he had prescribed (Nortriptyline) an older antidepressant that didn't even touch it.

Have you ever had infusion for your migraines?

No, I have not. I only saw a post about it today (or yesterday). Never thought about it. I'm going to bring it up at my appt with new Neuro and ask or if I have another migraine attack before that will ask my current neuro. Thanks, Kellyb1976
