Haven't got Bullous Pemphigoid - Yippee!
Once my Rheumatologist had accused me of causing the lesions on my lower legs by scratching, I've been looking for an excuse not to have his alternative to ZA which was
Denosumab
, which had fewer side effects about 30 to ZA's 112, but I'm sure learned one's on the forum said with the second infusion

Male osteoporosis sufferer aged 75
Now on
Denosumab
injections and have been for about 4 years. I have lost about 4" in height and the effect has been breathlessness and a slight stoop of the back. A dexa scan a year ago showed bone density had increased so perhaps the medication is helping.

Aged 49, newly diagnosed, - An Update
The medical oncologist said my future included chemotherapy,
denosumab
(for bone integrity) and continuation of Zoladex, as I still seem to be responsive. So far, I’ve had two rounds of Docetaxel chemotherapy and I have 4 left, which should be finished by June. After that who knows.

I have just today joined
Now on Anastrozole and
denosumab
injections, also Warfarin. My cancer is described as "stable" and I haven't any symptoms from my bones. So far my major organs are free. It is hard to believe that my life will be limited. The ileostomy is the worse thing and it does restrict me.

Is our last option worth trying - pemetrexed/cistplatin and denosumab😞 desperate for advice
Given options of doing nothing,
denosumab
for bones or chemo (cistplatin again plus pemetrexed) and
denosumab
. Told may have 12 months with treatment or possibly longer as if responds can go on pemetrexed maintenance. Can anyone give me their experiences or advice.

I'm currently taking exemestane, a hormone suppressing drug and
denosumab
which rebuilds bones. Exemestane gives me pains in joints, particularly hands and feet and spells of fatigue and dizziness but I'm enjoying a more energy filled phase at the moment.

Denosumab and diffuse SSc
Hi I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has had/ or taking
Denosumab
, for bones, our GP has recommended that my partner who has diffuse SSc, should have this treatment after a DEXA scan.

Unfortunately for me the tablets I take were causing more problems than my calcium and vit d supplements could keep up with so I am having my first injection of
denosumab
in a few weeks. If anyone has any experience with
denosumab
Id love to hear from you.

Has anyone on here had a Denosumab injection? Looking to find out about the side effects as my Mum is considering but looks a little scary!
She has suffered with SLE for a long time and we worry on additional side effects of the medication

Denosumab injection.
I was wondering if anyone has had a
denosumab
injection for Pagets. I found it impossible to take Bisphonates tablets, they made every joint in my body painful, so much so i could hardly walk at times, and I had to stop taking them and wait nearly 2 weeks for the effects to wear off.
