Frustrated
My doctor agreed to my request for a blood test, which I have just had. I needed it to judge the level of PMR inflammation as some of my aches and pains are starting to return. After having it done I have found it was just a routine blood test and no ESR or C-reactive protein test was included. I

Heart rate over 100. Should I lower or up my Levo??
Hi I was wondering if someone had any advice on whether or not I should lower or up my Levo dose? I had upped from 100mg to 112.5 mg beginning of June, but my heart-rate just keeps going over 100bpm when I’m not doing anything. I’m still tired and feel as if I just can’t be bothered. I’ve been sitting

what provoked my CLL?
Educating myself about CLL, I read that prolonged stimulation of the immune system in combination with genetic mutations and / or predisposition leads to CLL. I see myself as the ideal candidate for this disease. In a study about 10 years ago, it was found that one of the little proven risk factors

Functional Recovery from Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Dopamine Neuron Grafts is Dependent on Neurite Outgrowth
Summary Transplantation of human pluripotent stem cell-derived dopaminergic (DA) neurons is an emerging therapeutic strategy for Parkinson’s disease (PD). In this study, we demonstrate, for the first time, that that functional recovery after DA neuron transplant is critically dependent on graft-host

Alpha fetoprotein test for cirrhosis patients??
Hi, is it standard for this test to be done every 6 months with the liver scan? I've just had my bloods done (post liver scan and pre consultant appointment) and spotted that I have been tested for this for the first time and the results are hidden from my Patient Knows Best account ... should I be worried

Ferritin level 33
My ferritin level is at 33. Talked to my dr. She said I cannot get an iron infusion because insurance co. don't cover it for rls. She told me to increase iron and vit. C to twice a day. I can't imagine this will raise the ferritin level that much. What do you think?

Immune System..
Came across with a good article on Boosting your immune system… 4 ways to strengthen your body’s natural defenses By Stephen Kopecky, M.D. In early 2020, life as most of the world knew it came to a screeching halt. That’s when a previously unknown virus began spreading like wildfire, forcing businesses

Hello
What's going on? Eventually got a fibroscan on Monday 11/4/22 after badgering my doc as I have just cleared hep c but no follow up. Just a telephone call to say I was clear. This is, of course, brilliant news. However I have been carrying the virus for 35 years. I am 53 now and have symptoms related
