55yr old man born with no immune system, Brutons XLA , led to bronchiectasis or Non Famillia Cystic Fibrosis. Lung conditions went into freefall since Xmas, now on oxygen 24hs a day and being referred for transplant list . Anyone out there either been or going through the same process.

We had our egg retrieval in early July and have 3 viable embryos on ice following PGT-M and A testing (testing for cystic fibrosis and PGT-A done as standard as part of that). I am eligible for medicated or natural FET (which will be in October).

my husband has finally been diagnosed with unobstructive azoospermia due to being a carrier of the cystic fibrosis gene. I am not a carrier so we are looking at SSR. It’s £5000 for a micro tese privately - and we don’t have that money to spare currently.

GP isn’t worried about chest as I have Cystic Fibrosis as well so I’m used to that, it’s just heightened when I’m anxious!

the consultant mentioned my husband had a low sperm count /morphology & advised ICSI but asked my partner to have karyotping /cystic fibrosis blood tests done first, we're still waiting on these results since April as they said it would take 6-8 weeks.
