Has anyone on here had success with cryoablation in Atlanta Georgia
Hello, I was just curious if anyone on this site has gone and tried
cryoablation
in Atlanta. I was scheduled to have it done well at least the first part of the procedure but had to cancel it because they didn’t take my insurance. Please let us know. Thank you Debbie.

AF attack happening now
I'm due to go for pre-assessment tomorrow for a
cryoablation
. I've started with an AF attack this morning; if I'm still in AF tomorrow does that mean I will not be able to be assessed and will have to cancel the appointment? The last attack lasted 35 hours. I take Dronedarone and Bisoprolol.

Hi All, I was diagnosed with AF in 2017. I had replaced my old blood pressure monitor with a new Omron Evolv. This new monitor detects irregular heartbeats and it was pretty consistently showing that I had irregularity. So following an ECG and echocardiogram it was confirmed I had Paroxysmal AF. Looking

Ablation
Hi, I had my
cryoablation
last week for atrial tachycardia and he touched up the area of atrial flutter from 1st ablation at the same time. Phrenic nerve pacing was uncomfortable and had a few periods of pain but got given immediate pain relief and more sedation.

Post cryoablation
Hello, I had a
cryoablation
done 9 days ago, and my recovery has been quite poor. The incision points are now healing but it appears my heart is not. For the past week, my af has actually gotten worse than prior to the procedure.

Too late for ablation?
On the other hand, a second EP suggest
cryoablation
with 60% of success the first time and 70/80% the second one. Any suggestion will be welcomed. Bests wishes, FW.

Afib no cure?
Hi I have just been for a check up to see my EP and get results of echo cardiogram and 24 hour heart monitor as well as discuss my worry about the failed
cryoablation
last year which resulted in a blue light ambulance to St Thomas hospital after a pseudo aneurysm.

Post Pulmonary ablation issues
I am weeks post pulmonary
cryoablation
for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation... the procedure was traumatising.. I am not being a baby here.. had other procedures unrelated and just got on with it. I was not sedated enough or given sufficient pain relief.. I found it very painful and frightening.

Hi All, I had a
Cryoablation
just over two weeks ago and feel tired which is unusual for me plus I feel like I have a chesty cough so when I breath in I feel like I want to cough, can I ask if this is normal ? I'm taking Bisoprolol , 50mg Flecanide twice a day and Riveroxiban. Many thanks.

Back home after cryoablation
Hi all, just got home from hospital a couple hours ago. Everything went well, EP was very happy with procedure. I was in afib when I showed up, had been for three days so he didn't have to get it started. Afib stopped during ablation and they gave me some type of super adrenaline to see if I would go

So my Question is.....
Most recently I have concentrated on those dealing with Ablation as the increased frequency of my attacks have put me on the waiting list for a
Cryoablation
. Simply put, they don't make for great reading.

Laser ablation
I went into hospital for a
cryoablation
on Friday but was told afterwards that I had had a laser ablation as it carries less risks and is a simpler procedure. Also if I do need a second ablation the success rate is greater.
