Very confused and don't know what to do to help my body heal
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and up to 6 weeks ago the only digestive concerns I had was Coeliac Disease and a sliding hiatal hernia which was discovered at my endoscopy 4 years ago. The hernia hasn't given me any bother up to this point except for the occasional bout of acid reflux every couple

T3 medication
Hi, is there any reliable source where to order T3 medication. My t4 was high in last results but T3 not optimal. I am not losing weight at all and wondering if it could be my T3.

anemia but digestive issues (diarrhea)/multivitamins
Good evening everyone, I´m writing on behalf of my sister who is lactating now on her second year and has been suffering from diarrhea for the last two months. She has always had a tendency to it, but it seems to be aggravated. She is taking iron(liposmated) with vit C(ascorbic acid) because she has

News we've all been waiting for!
Ralph's had the most amazing few days. On Tuesday he had the swallow x-ray and the speech therapist was amazed at the results. Firstly he gave him some sour tasting stuff, which Ralph insisted he tried to see how horrible it was, lol. Then he had barium mixed with water, then barium with yoghurt then

What are the best intervals to increase T3 doses.
I started T3 only treatment of 2.5mcg on 17/4/24 Then increased to 5mcg after 16 days. Then increased to 7.5mcg after 21 days. I have been on 7.5mcg for 27 days now. I take 2.5mcg at 09.00, 2.5mcg at 13.00 and 2.5mcg at 21.00. I am having a reasonable improvement without bad side effects and feel

Help with latest blood test results and Vit D3 advice
Hello everyone,I would really appreciate any advice regarding my latest fasting blood tests, done before taking my Levothyroxine tablet. I am still on 75mcg Levothyroxine since diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2010. After my latest post, around Nov 2022, I followed the advice I was given and started taking

Saw Dr Klein at the Cambridge blood clinic.
So I finally saw Dr Klein, He says 100% I have pernicious anaemia and it’s quite bad. I have to inject ever other day for a year. Apparently my folate and ferritin is good. My vitamin D is also a tad low. My bladder issue could be to do with the Anaemia. Likewise it could be reversing out. He seemed

Positive Effect of Tocotrienol on T2D subjects
Of late, I have been reading the effect of a compound called Tocotrienols (one of the two classes of compounds available in Vitamin E) on type-2 diabetes subjects. According to some of the research papers published (links provided below) , having 250 to 400 mg of tocotrienol for around 6 months reduced

First Private Blood Test
This is my first post to this excellent website, and I hope someone can help me understand my first private blood test - fasting, last levothyroxine 26 hours previously. No B12 supplement for three weeks prior to the test. I did find it difficult to get sufficient blood, this being my second attempt

Very rapid weight gain, dose increase
Hi all, I first posted a few weeks ago as a new GP prescribed T3 but didn't tell me to start low and slow so I just started with 20mg of Thybon for 2 weeks and felt horrendous (so exhausted). TiggerMe suggested that my T4 wasn't optimal (neither was Vit D, Folate, Ferritin) so I stopped the T3 and

Increased bloating, gas and burning sensation in throat (?heartburn). On NDT
I am currently using NDT, and I have been taking Thyroid S for several years with varying batch success. I have just started a new batch 23T01008. I have also been trialling Roseway Labs Compounded NDT on and off due to the fewer ingredients to see if it suited me better as I have not been feeling optimum

teeth clenching
I’m titrating NDT Armour over the last year but I’ve got a hypo symptom that’s bothering me, nighttime teeth clenching. I have no knowledge I’m doing this. I take amitriptyline and once I get to sleep midnight to 1am, I’m out for the count. I think the dentist told me September 2023 that I was clenching

6 months after diagnosis, ALC going up?
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with CLL in early Dec 2023. I am not fully asymptomatic as one of my underarm lymph nodes is mildly enlarged. I also think I feel my spleen though it is considered of normal size per ultrasound. At the time of diagnosis, my absolute lymphocyte count was 10.9K. At the 3

T3 brand - sigmaPharma and Thybon Henning
Hi Managed to get a prescription for T3, but the prescriber is offering SigmaPharma 5 mcg initially, and says that it will be changed to Thybon later on as Sigma Pharma gets very expensive for higher doses like 20 mcg. Is this a good plan? I currently take Mercury T4 75 mcg Thanks

Genetic Testing
Greetings, I'm concerned about my condition (chronic/acute pancreatitis) being a health risk to my children/grandkids. I am wondering if anyone has a good opinion of the many testing companies out there. It seems they all have good/bad points. Any comments and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
