Anxiety or hormones?
I've been feeling light headed and off balance since being diagnosed hypothyroid years ago, could be meds side effects or the gland itself. I'm also post menopausal so low oestrogen. Allergies bung up the eustachian tunes cause imbalance. All of these can cause disequilibrium leading to anxiety. I had

Best Salvage Brachytherapy and SBRT locations
I'm trying to find top hospitals that have an experienced RO in salvage treatments for radio-recurrent PCa. I'm close to Duke Cancer Center and they have a RO there who does salvage Brachytherapy but he's only been practicing for 5 years so I doubt he has as much experience as I'd like. I think my

Jaw necrosis. Check up. Better safe than sorry. Thought I would get away with dying from my PC before I would need to be at a dentist lol.
4 plus years on Zometa so getting a check up for necrosis to be on the safe side. One of the members of my oncology team who I see about every other appointment finally for about the 3rd time bringing it up with me I agreed best to get a dental check for any signs of jaw necrosis. So delayed my Zometa

Possible Problems With Bladder Cancer Treatment
My treatment now seems to be - Flexy Cystoscopy first - If anything is found then booked for admission to have tumour(s) removed. This is done with a procedure called TURBT and rigid cystoscopy. As a BTY - I am unsure if my BCG treatment has ended, or have I one more go. I am not allowed "general

Lung Biopsy - Lucky?
During my 1st PEt scan for PC a shadow was revealed on my lung. Subsequent to my PC treatment I did a CT scan of the area and am undergoing a biopsy of that node in a few days. The pulmonary Dr. had doubts that it was from the PC since it was so far removed from the prostate and my cancer was not advanced

Covid and Blood Tests
Hello lovely people. I wasn't given the jab this year and I've recently had a pretty bad dose of Covid (four days of fever at 102, oxygen sats down to 92% at one point) and my heart rate went crazy and I had one episode of SVT briefly the first time I got out of bed after the fever. Only one, mind

Seeking anyone familiar with aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer and/or with lurbinectedin as 2nd line chemotherapy.
A needle biopsy Oct 15, 2023 revealed that at least some of my metastatic prostate cancer in a lymph node had mutated to an aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer. (notable for CDK N1B, RB1, Tp53 mutations. MSS, TMB low) I had 4 cycles of carboplatin/etoposide chemotherapy, which ended

Sternum discomfort
I had a CABG x 3 in July and am recovering well. My main problem is the discomfort/pain where my sternum was wired up. The main problem is at the bottom of my scar. I have lost weight so not much padding, I wondered if this will get better as time goes on. It is uncomfortable mostly when trying to

Radiotherapy
I’ve just finished a 3 week course of Radiotherapy and I feel dreadful. I’ve been very sick and it feels like flu. I’m very tired and sleeping a lot. Complete loss of appetite. I didn’t find chemotherapy as bad as this. Has anyone else had this experience ?

Cancerous thyroid nodules. Are they painful sometimes?
Id be really grateful for thoughts on this please. I'm awaiting surgery on a nodule that's suspicious for follicular cancer but obviously as we know, they can't be certain until its taken out. What i want to know is, has anyone had a painful nodule that can be really sore consistently (8 months now

Hi, I am a 49 year old musician and I was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma in December 2023 and had to have surgery a few weeks later due to the size of the tumour and how ill I was.
