Conjunctivitis ( Just wondering)
Has anyone out there noticed a connection between
conjunctivitis
and wet AMD? It was several bouts of "pink" eye that led me to the opthamologists who diagnosed my AMD as wet after an OCT scan. He said the
conjunctivitis
was caused by blepharitis.

Antibiotics and prednisolone
I have had my first cataract done and now got
Conjunctivitis
. Antibiotic drops don't seem to be improving it. Is it my immune system. I have also developed little red pouches above my cheek bones. Any advice.

Methotrexate and constant infections
I have had the flu jab but whilst I was there I started with a mild sore throat and I have now got
conjunctivitis
! I’m really getting fed up with this, I’m only on the lowest does of MTX, does anyone else suffer the same? Should I mention this to rheumy?

Hey all, I keep getting
Conjunctivitis
. Like I had it 2 weeks ago, used eye drops to get rid of them and now it’s come back. I washed everything and been keeping track on not touching my eyes etc.

Vet versus Doc
The vet did various eye tests and decided it was probably allergic
conjunctivitis
so I’ve been heroically applying eye drops single handedly to a patient dog. I had a return visit today, when Blue’s eyes are worse.

Exceptionally bad flare! Advice please
I was diagnosed PMR in June 2018; starting dose 20mg as did not then respond to 15mg and have struggled to get to 12.5mg....that’s when the virus in the form of
conjunctivitis
and thus ‘flare’’ slipped in through the back door! Thank you.

IgE mediated allergies now non-IgE mediated.
He said there is no doubt I have rhinitis and
conjunctivitis
but I am on massive amounts of treatment for it to no avail. He did start to explain that IgE mediated allergies can become something else where you still trigger to the same things but in a different way.

Conjunctivitis and downhill from there!
Had PMR since June 2018 ..20 mg. Been doing well with 12 mg reduction achieved two weeks ago. Woke up with sore eyes, by the afternoon so bad went to A&E as couldn’t see and eyes seriously swollen and septic. All dealt with efficiently but had temperature and ill and in bed for 4 days. Now terrible

Sore eyes
I did a treatment for
conjunctivitis
just in case but that didn’t seem to be it. I also avoid allergens and it doesn’t seem to matter where I am. It definitely seems worse in my bad endo/pain days.

How does your skin signal serious health problems?
If you are constantly suffering from eye infections, you should ask your doctor to check the blood sugar level in your blood. Diabetes can weaken the immune system, causing the frequent occurrence of a variety of infections, including
conjunctivitis
.

Looking for good private optomologist in London
I was diagnosed with filamentary
conjunctivitis
in November at Sidcup Hospital. They said it was connected to my arthritis. My rheumatologist suggested a second opinion from a private ophthalmologist as it wasn’t clear exactly what was wrong.

May The 4th Be With You....Jedi Academy Rebel Fun Run😎
I had been planning to be running a 10k for this, but was scuppered by getting rhinitis and
conjunctivitis
near the beginning of April so my running schedule went out the window. I was following Ju ju's plan so got back to Week 3 and pencilled in a 7k for today...
