I have severe restless syndrome. Is lipitor aggravating my restless leg syndrome?
I have severe restless leg syndrome has had it since I was a child. I've been taking pramipexole for it for the last 10 years or so and it's under control. however I recently had a heart attack and my doctor put me on at 80 mg dose of Lipitor. Or the generic form of it anyways. The last few nights in

RLS relief
I would just like to say hoping that it might help some people, that I was put on 6 mg of prolonged-release tablets Ropinirole about six months ago which helped on and off, also Iam on a course of iron tablets which have helped my specialist said it was found to be better to take one a day than three

Feeling incredibly left behind
We have four beautiful blastocysts waiting on ice for us in Greece and were due to have a transfer in Feb. But due a logistical nightmare because of covid, we’ve decided to delay this until Spring when hopefully travel to Greece should be bit less stressful. But I am just feeling so sorry for myself

The more homocysteine, the worse the Parkinson's?

Trouble with getting initial diagnosis
Well this is my first post so if I am going on I apologise! I have been diagnosed with hypermobility when I was 48! I thought it was normal for me that I could all these party tricks that it came as a bit of a surprise. Since then I have been looking into the associated conditions and came across EDS

Stopping medication
Hi, I have suffered with restless legs all my life but they only became unbearable after having my second son. I tried all sorts of different things with varying success, initially Magnesium helped, then Iron, then an iron infusion but then they gradually became less and less effective. I was exhausted

RLS and progesterone birth control... trigger?
I was doing really well on 10/325 hydrocodone every night plus 1/2 pill of my .25 mg Requip to keep the RLS at bay. But lately, I have had a series of really bad nights (and then DAYS) when I can’t seem to get relief from my regular meds. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I got

Reboot, reset
I have come to the slow realisation 2 years post abi that my whole life has been reset. I have learned to walk all over and gradually have relearned who i am. This feels like a knowledge of the core of who i was as im not exactly the same as i was before, ie less tolerant, less able to argue efffectively

NK question
Hello all! Congrats on all the good news I read :) I found out about these NK cells august 2020.. after failed FETs.. I went to an autoimmune specialist who informed me of the elevated NK cells. As a result I went on more supplements, started some extra medications 2 weeks prior to FET and weekly intralipid

Combined test & amnio
I had my 12 week scan last Tuesday. My NT measurement was 3.3mm (sonographer advised this was high side of normal range 3.5mm is classed as high) I had my combined bloods done on the same day. I recieved a phone call today from my screening midwife to advise higher risk of combined Edwards and Patau

Severe Covid infection is viral sepsis
Some of us who have been dealing with the aftermath of sepsis, septic shock & post sepsis syndrome have watched all the emphasis on long Covid and felt huge empathy for their suffering. Now we are starting to see confirmation of something that we surmised months ago. https://www.healthleadersmedia.com

Thicker Neuchal Fold Translucency identified in 12 week scan
Has anyone else experienced this at their 12 week scan? The measurement is apparently accepted at 3.5mm or below and mine was 3.9mm. We have been referred to a specialist unit at another hospital next week but I'm naturally now worrying myself sick!! My consultant mentioned the risk of chromosomal abnormalities

Can I give my dad Mucinex nightshift cold and flu if he has Parkinsons and takes carbidopa/levodopa?
I have given him Mucinex but don't know if this is the same and is ok to take.

Experience with smooth endoplasmic reticulum in eggs ?
Hi fertility friends ! I just had my first egg collection on Saturday and managed to get two mature eggs . Both apparently contained smooth endoplasmic reticulum . One of these was fertilised and we are just waiting to see what sort of embryo it makes. The embryologist didn’t tell me what this meant

Coke helps - very strange
I've had RLS for almost 20 years. I take Pramipexole and it totally works. But, yesterday, I learned something new. I have never, never had caffeine any time after noon because it makes me jumpy and I don't sleep. (I don't sleep well anyway, so the caffeine meant I didn't sleep at all). But, yesterday
