Any advice for a struggling runner?
Hi fellow travellers, I am writing for some advice regarding my running following my prostatectomy and then salvage radiotherapy. I have been a keen runner since my 40’s and became quite good at it, running most days and completing many marathons. Since just before my diagnosis and up to the present

Post SBRT CAT Scan
In June of this year I had stereotactic body radiation therapy for a slow growing tumor in my left lung which was presumed to be a recurrence of a previous NSCLC in that same area. Biopsy was not an option due to the tumor's proximity to the aorta. I had a follow up CAT scan earlier this week and the

Stable CT scan. Five years+ living with Stage IV NSCLC
This is an excerpt from a caring bridge post I made yesterday. I also included a whole bunch of language stuff about covid-19and the need for each of us to do our part to protect one another, but I’ll leave that there. I am grateful that I just received happy CT scan results

Can a small meningioma cause issues?
Hi, I'm the new girl in town. I had my first neurosurgeon appointment last week and I'm confused. I have a 2.5 cm meningioma called Hugo but apparently it's perfectly fine and not doing anything. According to the consultant it doesn't cause my symptoms like dizziness, headache, balance issues, sensitivity

Has anyone found a colostomy to be the solution to incontinence. I wondered if it made things more controllable ?
I have had worse and worse incontinence since radiotherapy in 1999. A doctor I saw during this time suggested I might need an 'operation'. Should I abandon the proposed rectal prolapse surgery and have a colostomy?
