Hello again my friends! I think my question is a simple one but I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere, so I turn to the experts here! A favorable answer would eliminate 6 more months of anxiety for me while waiting for the other shoe to drop! I’ve been on Active Surveillance since completing my

Jim is back in hospital
Jim was taken to hospital a week today with blood clots and peeing blood again luckily he was quickly transferred to castle hill in hull a specialist hospital. He is very poorly and he has stopped eating since he had radiotherapy. The consultant said he wants to operate and take out the dead kidney.

I lost the website once again which is why I am writing on this page. Did you get my last e mail? I was just wondering how you are and what are you up to. I am good I have finished radiotherapy last week and I thought I was tired all the time whereas now I feel as if I have a concrete overcoat on. Gosh

Tim's Run on the Franco-Swiss border
Even though parkruns are still suspended in France 😡 a group of us meet every Sat. at 09:00 for a (non)parkrun on the same course come rain, sun or snow ! I started running at 65 and very grateful for these HU forums and the great advice and support from Tim. A hundred parkruns later, I'm still running

I was greatly saddened to read first from Tim of his Cancer Diagnosis and then to hear of his passing. When I first started C25k running after my Retirement in September 2019 he was so lovely welcoming me to the forum and offering great words of advice and encouragement which I still adhere to to this

Sharing a recording of a Lung Cancer conference for patients
Hi everyone At the end of October, one of the leading cancer centres in the US held an online conference for cancer patients and carers. It was recorded and you can watch the sessions now. Its a brilliant opportunity to hear lots of specialist doctors talking about treatment options and new research

Would you like to share your views of radiotherapy?
Hello this is a request on behalf of a PHD student at Manchester university. Radiotherapy is a very common treatment for lung cancer, with over 40% of patients receiving it as part of their care. RLS and the Neupro patch
I have had RLS ever since I can remember, but it was once moderate and controllable.Last year I received 8 1/2 weeks of radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Hopefully the cancer is under control but it was during that treatment time that I began with severe RLS. Despite numerous trials of medications
