Concerta

We are presently using concerta 27mg. It has helped with school somewhat but not too much with mood and self regulation at home. Has anyone tried any products like SNAP. Can this be used with concerta?

I've been on concerta but I feel like it makes me really tired and does not help at all with my symptoms. Any suggestions on how to address or what to do?

I have received Xaggitin in my prescription for the first time, when up until now have been on Concerta XR. On 18mg Concertq XR I felt instant results, but it faded quickly and felt it wore off too soon, considering it was supposed to be working for up to 12 hours. So!

His doctor said it showed Concerta many not be the right medication for him. She mentioned switching to Strattera only. I am nervous to go from a stimulant that he has been taking for 2.5 years to a non-stimulant. Has anyone ever done this?

Is this normal on concerta or any adhd meds? is concerta known to make ppl sleepy? I plan on telling my doc of course just wanted some immediate insight.

hello, my 16 years old son started taking concerta 36mg a month ago, do u think I can combine accentrate with concerta? he got much better with concerta but his concentration is still lacking and i dont want to increase the dosage of concerta. Anyone tried to combine both?

His doctor put him on a combo of concerta 27mg (He has been taking that since 6th grade after coming down from 36 mg due to side effects.) I've read some promising studies, so I am hopeful. The doc says it will take at least 2 weeks to see any impact.

He is now in 4 different medicines , guanfacine,concerta,abilify and lexapro. His diagnosis are adhd combined , disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, anxiety. When ever he wants he can be good and nice boy , he doesnt have a bad heart.

Anyone else encounter this with Concerta? Needless to say ped is putting him back n Quillichew and we will try to get him to intake more calories.

I'm kind of nervous to take concerta and was wondering if anyone else had done the switch and if you could tell me about how it went! Which medication do you prefer? Are they very different? Thanks!

(He has also tried Concerta long acting and was manic) We are pursuing seeing a child psychiatrist for medication management but its a wait to see her...His current neurologist suggested trying Focalin XR 20mg to eliminate some of the doses.

I just started Concerta 3 days ago and this drowsy feeling is unbearable. Will this tiredness eventually go away once my body gets used to the medication or should I contact my doctor to get the prescription changed asap.

I take Concerta for my ADHD along with other anxiety medication. The medication and dosage took and my psychiatrist back home along time to get right. So, I’m looking for the best and easiest way to get the same prescription here.

I gave my 6 year old the smallest dose of Concerta for the first time and it did NOT have a good effect. He was so hyped up and he talked endlessly all day, and he couldn’t speak to keep up with his own thoughts. He made zero sense, while normally he speaks pretty clearly.

Hii Everybody,, I have some adhd symptos so I consulted a psychiatrist then he prescribed WELBRUTIN 150mg XL for one month after taking this medicine I din't feel any difference in my problems so then after one month he added one more medicine Concerta 18 mg now this is my second day of the concerta

I told my psych all this and she prescribed me Concerta at first 36 mg then 54. I was really excited for it but it's not helping at all.

I have recently transitioned to Concerta now on 54mg and I like the improvement in focus and productivity. But I have noticed that I have become increasingly irritable. Am at home with 6 y/o in lockdown (Zimbabwe). Freelancing and Homeschooling.

We are trying Concerta- at 18mg we saw no difference, 36mg also no difference. Our doctor would like us to try 54mg however I’m worried it’s too much? Has anyone with a child had success with 54mg? I’m ready to take him off medication completely because the side effects just scare me.
