I just moved to the country two weeks ago. I take Concerta for my ADHD along with other anxiety medication. The medication and dosage took and my psychiatrist back home along time to get right. So, I’m looking for the best and easiest way to get the same prescription here. I do have the original prescription along with my diagnosis from my psychiatrist. Should I visit a GP? Psychiatrist? Or any other healthcare professional? Any advice would be appreciated.

If you already know the medication that works for you, go to a GP (or an internal medicine doctor or family practice doctor). They can prescribe and will cost less than a psychiatrist.
If the GP isn’t comfortable prescribing your medication (if it’s not a normal dose etc), ask them to refer you to a good psychiatrist.
