has anybody switched from Vyvanse to Concerta because Vyvanse only last a couple hours?
I have been on by Vance three months now, and it seems to only last a couple hours before it starts to wear off. I’ve been reading, and some people metabolize vitamins, much faster than others. Has anybody found a way to make it last longer? I am thinking about switching to Concerta because of the

Hello everyone. Like many here, I've had Restless Legs Syndrome for a long time. I was diagnosed in 2003 after a sleep study, but suspect I had it many years before being diagnosed. RLS was the first medication I was ever prescribed and it completely changed my life. I really don't know who I would be

How do you know if Concerta is working?
This may seem a strange question. My son is on his 3rd week of Concerta. 18mg week 1, 36mg week 2 and now on 54mg. He is having trouble saying if it is having any positive effect. The first week he had a low level headache for a few days, which wore off. Now he is on the high dose he said he is having

Is it ADHD or Aspergers?
Good Day So at about the age of 6 my son was diagnosed with ADHD. Since then we have had him on various dosages of Concerta to assist him with his concentration especially at school. We have found that the medication does help with his concentration and does take the "edge" off of his explosive behaviour

Socially, Concerta vs Adderall
Hi, Hopefully someone can help me here. Seems like a supportive community. I was diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago. My psychiatrist has me using Concerta and Adderall or Dexedrine (due to the shortage of Adderall) on different days. It seems that I communicate better and calmer on the Concerta; however

Mirtazapine(Remeron) with RLS?
My recent posts are about insomnia with Gabapentin. I have found suggestions that Wellbutrin XL is possibly the culprit. My husband's psychiatrist has suggested Mirtazapine which is an antidepressant that helps with insomnia. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? My concern is that

Struggling with work/life balance
I’m finding myself stuck within the same struggle that I constantly keep circling back to. I feel like there has to be an answer or a solution, but maybe there just isn’t. I tried meds, Vyvanse, for about 3 years. In the beginning I thought it was working, then not so much. I played around with dosing

LDN for ADHD when taking Concerta?
My 21 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago. We were wondering whether LDN can be taken while also taking ADHD meds (in this case, she is on Concerta - slow release Methylphenidate). We were hoping that she might be able to slowly taper off the Concerta and use LDN in the meantime

Advice on how to help 14 year old wrecking his life
I could really use some advice from anyone who has been through this or something similar. I’ll try to summarize as briefly as I can- my 14 year old son has ADHD, depression, and anxiety. He had always been a kid with buckets of energy, no filter, and operates like a light switch (he’s on or off). Up

Meds only somewhat effective
Hi All, my son has been on concerta ER 18 mg and guanfacine 1mg for a few months now and we’ve seen some improvement in symptoms but he still struggles with emotional regulation. His teacher says he needs less breaks and his focus and attention have improved a little but he still has issues with task

Concerta sleep issues
Hi everyone! My son is turning seven next week and has been medicated for his adhd since September 2022. We have tried a few courses of treatment and found that the most effective for him is Concerta 18mg Long acting, but when he takes this he is awake until anywhere from midnight to four in the morning

Hi folx! First, thank you all for sharing so much of yourselves in this forum. It’s been so illuminating for me to see so many from such different walks of life learn and accept this part of themselves! My journey was a long one. More recently (last 10 years), I had been exploring sources of my chronic
