Diagnosis by Exclusion?
I have Diverticular, diagnosed by colonoscopy, but also extreme bowel habits. Tried Laxido, Movicol, Loperamide etc etc but as they don't work immediately, it's hard to self medicate, Virtually housebound, look like I'm 9 months pregnant and often in pain. Is this IBS as other things have been ruled

No withdrawal bleed when on combined pill?
Should probably also mention I had a
colposcopy
and cryotherapy (I think?) last summer as abnormal cells were found during my smear test.

Hemorrhoid surgery?
Diagnosed with PD last year. Signs were hand tremor and constipation. 4 years ago a colonoscopy showed internal hemorrhoids. Recently it's turned into external hemorrhoids. Anyone had surgery for this? TIA, kpo

Colonoscopy due
Hi there. I am due to have a colonoscopy in a weeks time. I have been given the choice of conscious sedation or Entonox. Clearly the recovery rate is much quicker with the latter and you can drive yourself home. But can anyone advise who has had a colonoscopy or even several ! which They would recommend

Colonoscopy with AF and ICD?
I've had several colonoscopies with AF and sedation, with no problems at all. But now - I have an ICD. Is an EP by protocol required to be present to switch it on and off before and after? If so, that must mess up their schedules badly.

Colonoscopy results
Waited 8weeks for a reply from hospital after colonoscopy, saying no further action required, received another letter yesterday saying the consultant will phone me on the 14th September. Worried now they have found something in the 16 biopsy’s that we’re taken. Did anybody else have another letter later

Lower TSH and anaemia
After having TSH of 4.9 earlier in the year, my recent blood test shows a TSH of 2.6 is it possible that taking seaweed tablets has brought it down? Also recent test shows alarming anaemia, they are now testing ferritin levels and referring me for colonoscopy 😩

TSH
Good evening I have a lot symptoms that seem Thyroid related, specifically Hyper... my GP said my TSH is "in range".. last year it was 2.34.. this year she didn't tell me.. she won't do a full thyroid panel. Is it possible to have hyperthyroidism with a normal TSH? I'm thinking of paying for a private

Does this sound familiar??
Throughout late June and all of July I had several admissions to hospital with severe abdominal pains. On each of these admissions I was informed I had fecal impaction. Although I have been told by my GP for several years that I likely had IBS, I have never suffered from fecal impaction before. This

We have seen specialist gastritis consultant, and completed many invasive tests to try and see if he has either a form of cancer of something else! All results are negative soo far

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a bit of advice on some question I haven’t solved yet. Basically, my whole story started about 2 months ago (july/2020), when my mom started feeling unwell and thought it was due to a umbilical hernia she has. As she was treated for colorectal cancer 14 years ago, she pays
