Update after consultation w/Royal Marsden
The working hypothesis is that some gut bacteria could lead to both prostate and
colon
cancer
(as I've had both, I said yes) The trial will consist of a cocktail of antibiotics over a 4 week period, and starts in a few weeks. 8.

Following on from my previous post when I was eventually (after 6months) diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of my lower left lobe, I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the lobe - called a Lobectomy. I’d just like to say even though the lobe was ‘sticky’ and therefore the surgery took 4.5hours, which was longer

Which treatment option best for recurrent oligo?
In addition to SBRT for the two mets that make me join the happy recurrent crowd, what would be my best treatment option? I have had no SOC medication for 2.5 years. My T is 4 European scale 110 US scale. 1 Only ADT for seven months. This is what MO recommends, besides SBRT, since stronger/longer

Update on prognosis for my husband with stage 4 A cancer.
I met with the Cornell team and the oncologist was against surgery and now they are suggesting radiation for two weeks 5 times a day by MRI guided machine and ADT for two years. Have a consult with Memorial Sloane Kettering next week then will make our decision. Feeling confused as want hubby to make

My uncle, a very fit 88-year old, was diagnosed with prostate cancer 3 1/2 years ago and while the hormonal treatment kept it in check for a couple of years, his PSA has now risen to 1600 and the scans show has spread to his bones. He has been tinkering with different hormonal regimes, abiraterone

Interesting new targeted therapy trial
I like this company’s mission. They have a Phase 1/2 trial underway at Mass General in Boston with a new miRNA-10b treatment. https://www.transcodetherapeutics.com TransCode’s lead therapeutic candidate, TTX-MC138, is a targeted therapy designed to treat cancer patients with metastatic cancer,

Breathing problem.
Even though 6 months ago I was told I was stage 4 and Gleason 9 the use of Orgovyx and Zytiga have brought my PSA from 72 to 0.4, and my numerous cancer hot spots appear under control. My PSA continues to go down and I'm without pain. However, I find myself breathing very hard just climbing a flight

Lymph node Metastasis
After 7 years, and multiple PSMA scans, my husband had a FDG CT scan and it showed what they quoted as “several” metastasis In the lymphs In the para aortic area in abdomen. Bicalutamide (Casodex) then Eligard - Question
OK, Another quick question. I've been on Bical for 11 days and in 3 days I get my first 1 month injection of Eligard. I have had almost zero side effects with Bical, maybe a little extra fatigue but hardly noticeable. Does this mean that perhaps I will tolerate Eligard better than what some people experience
