If this doesn't work, then taking Rifampicin is the next line of therapy. Even when this is effective, it can make the liver worse. It is very important to check liver function tests after taking Rifampicin

I know how badly this tastes. I'm sure anyone taking it would welcome hints on making it more tolerable. I always drink it very cold and thru a straw sometimes. It seems I mixed it with juice.
