Light therapy for severe itching

HelloI was doing very well with colestyramine and Dermacool cream to treat my subcutaneous itching but it has returned with a vengeance. It's almost intolerable and severely affects my life and sleep. Frankly it is just making me cry most days.

Has anyone tried light therapy for this? If so does it work?

I have not been offered that, but I will ask! They are going to look at my blood tomorrow to find out if there is another reason for it, kidneys perhaps.I'll ask about hydoxyzine though - thank you, anything is worth a try!
