Ablation - Second Procedure
Greetings All, I had my second Ablation on Tuesday, April 30 in NYC. Home now and feeling tired, sore and a little beaten up. Doctor thinks it all went well and rest and time will tell. I was much stronger and more prepared mentally and physically this time. Please if anyone is hesitating about the procedure

Armpit sores
I have Behcets and I am currently taking azathioprine, dapsone, colchicine, and prednisone. But recently I have been getting these sores under my arm pit. They first develop as a pimple and it gets pus in it. I pop them and clean them out with hydrogen peroxide and then put neosporan on them. Any advice

Pregnancy Questions
Hi everyone, I’m provisionally diagnosed with Behçet’s and being treated with Imuran 100mg twice a day. Not feeling much benefit as of yet but it’s only been 3 months. I was previously on colchicine but I had awful side effects so had to stop that. On top of Behçet’s I also have hashimotos and no thyroid

Dizzy with Vasculitis
I have had IgA Vasculitis for the last 16 years. It is being controlled with dapsone and colchicine. Though I still have painful feet I am able to get through the day. What is worrying me now is constant dizziness and imbalance. This is depressing as I am losing the confidence to do things by myself.

No CRP response, raised IgM
I have been seeing my rheumatologist since August 2017 and I have a working diagnosis of Behçet’s. I was started on colchicine which I tolerated for 5 months before having to stop due to severe gastric symptoms and weight loss. I was started on Imuran at the start of January and recently had my dose

Do I have Behcet's?
I have been trying for over 2 years (It will be 3 years in May) to figure out what my diagnosis should be. I don't fit any specific category but many of my symptoms do seem to fit Behcets. I don't however fit the profile. I'm 62 years old and mostly European descent. My first symptoms 3 years ago started

Diagnosis and new treatment... confused
Hi everyone! I went to the Rheumatologist today, and he said I do indeed have Behçet’s disease! He wants me to stay on colchicine (1 a day) putting me on prednisone (2 a day) and azathioprine (1 a day for now).. does anyone have experience with this? I also can’t help but think that I don’t have it

Pericarditis...does it ever go??
Hi, I got diagnosed with pericarditis last June after collapsing with chest pain and being admitted to hospital. I had recently had a stressful separation from my husband and had a kidney infection which they think could have caused it. Started on colchicine 3x daily and ibuprofen with omeprazole. I

Pericarditis diagnosed 10 weeks ago/now don't know what it is?
I was diagnosed with Acute Pericarditis 10 weeks ago however after 8 weeks of treatment colchicine, ibuprofen, co-codamol my symptoms were getting worse. At the moment my cardiologist doesn't know what it is but he's pretty sure its not pericarditis. As such I'm having other tests however these take

AF Diagnosed in January 2018
Diagnosed after a chest infection earlier this year. Short stay in hospital. Now on 7 daily meds. Awaiting follow up from consultant. Please help as so much advise needed. The condition affected my feet really badly due to swelling and pain so much so I'm still not walking properly 10 months later and

Seen the Rheumatologist
Hey everyone! I went and saw the rheumatologist yesterday, he was great. He listened to me and really thought it could be behcets. However, I don’t have any eye symptoms so he’s lenient on giving me a diagnosis. My genital ulcer is finally gone!! But left a huge scar, and now I’m started to get mouth

Great Doctor, diagnoses possibly!?
Hi everyone!! What started out as a terrible day from pain with mouth ulcers and genital ulcers ended up fantastic. I was able to get the afternoon off of work, and head to the doctor, I was waiting for test results to see if I had any stds or anything. Nothing showed up besides some high inflammatory

Pericarditis - well I'd not heard of this 3 weeks ago ...
Hi guys, my first post to this site. I guess I'm looking for advice/reassurance really as I don't know anyone with this condition. I was diagnosed with acute pericarditis 3 weeks ago, after 5 GP visits, 2 A&E visits with one hospital admission. Currently taking Colchicine, Ibuprofen and Co-Codamol

High blood pressure after ablation
I am new here. I had my ablation 5 days ago and my blood pressure started to go up two days ago. I still take the same bp meds as before, and they have added colchicine, pepcid and famotadine to the mix. Could any of those be causing an increase in my bp? It was normal when I left the hospital.
