Supplement breakthrough but now what??
Hi everyone. Fairly new to the site. I have had RLS for about 12 years now. It has been well controlled through Mirapex/Ropinirole but a couple of months ago it seemed to not be working as well. Started feeling symptoms in my arms and onset was earlier in the day. Even would wake up some days with symptoms

Tramadol efficiency
Hello I augmented on Ropinirole 2 years ago and used Tramadol to help the withdrawal symptons. Once over the withdrawal my legs were so much better (I hadn't realised how awful they had become while on Ropinirole). At the same time I increased my ferritin levels to over 100 (currently 128). I took 50mg

Question about RLS and meds.
I am new to the forum and have learned a lot from reading the many entries. I am curious to see if anyone has done the following: I just eliminated the antidepressant Cymbalta and hope to soon eliminate Ropinirole from my system. Why? I am convinced both have contributed to my restless leg issues

SO MUCH BETTER!!
Hi everyone, Over the last 2 months I have cut out all biscuits, cookies and crisps and the desired result is that I have lost 4 kgs or roughly 8 lbs of weight! I am also more careful about wine (I have the odd glass), caffeine and chocolate and the result is I am more tired in the evening and sleep

Recovery Update on Fathers Day
During the date of my RTI, 04/08/14 I was a Semi-pro footballer, with my Wife Married since 2006. When I was discharged from Hospital in 2016 we carried out a vowel renewal as we were married for 10 years at the aforementioned date, I can not mention how happy & proud of her support that I’ve received

Restless leg relief
Please anyone with restless leg try potassium citrate and vitamin B1 you’re symptoms will be gone within a few days. I had restless leg so bad I wore holes in my bottom sheet. This is safe and my belief it’s a vitamins deficiency. Worth a try

Breaking the MAGIC: Mouth and Genital Ulcers with Inflamed Cartilage Syndrome
I found the following link to an article about Behcets and relapsing polychondritis really very interesting and may help many others with these two differing yet similar conditions. Mouth and genital ulcers with inflamed cartilage (MAGIC) syndrome refers to a condition in which features of Behcet’s disease

All about cannabis
The first series called 'The Sacred Plant', about the history and use of cannabis, was extremely informative. The second series is now airing free for the next few hours. If you hop on quick you can view the episode on pain. It might help. Please watch it if you can. It will stop any fear you may have

Second cycle of Clomid
Hi, I don’t want to bore you with my life story so I’ll try and keep to the present. I’m in the middle of treatment with clomid. Given three months worth and I have taken the first two with no success. I am now on cycle day 85 and have my hospital appointment in 15 days. I didn’t track my cycles before

Tried most everything
. I have had RLS for over 12 years. In the beginning, I could walk around the house or elevate my legs on the couch and the movements would stop and I could sleep. Now I take Ropinirole (Requip),Carbidopa levodopa, and clonazepam. I suffer beyond belief but have found some relief in the Relaxis

getting no sleep after stopping miripex
now I understand why so many of my friends here said an opiate of some kind was a necessity. As I weaned off of miripex, each time I lowered the dose I had a couple of days of trouble. But now that i'm off it altogether, my symptoms are bad in legs and arms. Baths are no longer helping. Any idea

Odd occasion for the 'sperm test'
Okay so yesterday who'd have thought it, was an extremely stressful day.. we had to do the sperm test which was advanced... My annoyance flowed when 1) he made it all about him not liking any type of doctor treatments/involvement with doctors. 2) on the drive down which took an hour, I could see he wasn't

Sleep, Anyone? Anyone?
Have any of you suffered from hyper insomnia, then changed meds and had some good sleep at last? At very long last? I am still on a small-ish dose of pramipexole, ready to wean with the help of methadone. Benzos make no difference to sleep, sadly. Nor do all the whacked out remedies, magnesium and
