Cochlear implant and tinnitus

Hi , I have just come back after a break on the chatline. I know I have asked this same question before, but is there anyone out there who has a cochlear but still has tinnitus. I would love to hear how you are going.... one question I do have is .. how do you go at the movie theatre? I can’t bear to go at the moment, but someone may have some ideas. The ads are so loud! Thank you .

I believe cinema ads are above the legal Db limit. Why are they not brought to task. I cannot go to the cinema because of my tinnitus.

I made that mistake. Before going to see Avengers Endgame my t didn’t really bother me. It was there but so low that it felt like it was a whistle being blown in the far distance so I barely noticed it then I went to the cinema and was fine but the following morning the noise was ringing like made and has gone back to its original version. I’ve become accustomed to the new way (up and down ringing with the occasional oooooo that lasts an hour or so a day) but always hated myself for going.
