Substernal goitre - Is it likely that surgery will be the only answer ?

Hi all. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this so would love to hear others' experiences of treatment.

I have a multinodular goitre which has become substernal. I have high TPO antibodies also. Not yet seen an endo, no treatment. I have gone gluten free after advice here. Just wondering if anyone else has similar and what treatment you obtained.

I've googled it and read here but always find hearing from others in similar circumstances is such a help. Thanks in advance for any replies. j

Hi there! How did you get on with your goitre? I've been referred for an ultrasound, as a chest xray suggests I have a mediastinal goitre. I'll update my profile with any potential treatments when I have a better idea of what I have
