TPO and TG Bloods?
Hi everyone, can anyone help with this please? I was diagnosed over 45 years ago with hypothyroidism and happily medicated until I hit the menopause about 8 years ago and my dose was reduced from 250 to 100 mcg. Since then I have been suffering from several issues which I am wondering might be caused

Thyroid antibodies and levothyroxine
Hi, I don’t have any antibodies (that I know of, negative TPO test. I’m awaiting to seek clarification on whether or not TG has been tested) but I’m just curious - Do TSH levels take a longer time to drop when on levothyroxine when you have thyroid antibodies? Thanks.

This is why you should ALWAYS view your own blood results.
I was diagnosed Nov 2018, despite a blood test 7 months before not being processed and me being incorrectly informed all normal. But now I’ve discovered I was hyper years before getting diagnosed. Since setting up online access (with help from this forum on how to start going about it) I been going

Advice on Levothyroxine dose and brand
Hi all, my first post here! I have a query regarding the dose of my Levo and what brand to use. After a long struggle with my thyroid, I started off with thyrotoxicosis/Grave's disease (diagnosed finally in August 2018 by GP) - and going completely UNTREATED by idiot NHS endos - I fell into subclinical

TSH increasing but T4 & T3 improving as well?
Hi all, my hypothyroid journey has been a rollercoaster but this latest development is baffling me and am wondering if anyone has any similar experiences or insight. At my recent blood test, my TSH increased (showing I've gotten more hypothyroid apparently) but my T4 and T3 also went up to the highest

Useless Endo call but offered a thyroid scan.
So I received a phone call appointment with an Endo who noted my palpatation problems and high TPO but of course was as usless as expected only explaining that this is a non issue at the moment and that I should only receieve thyroid TSH testing every six months and that my chance of developing autoimmunity

Hashimotos ... flipped hypo to hyperthyroid
Hi. Please could you look at my blood test results below. I was diagnosed with hashimotos in jan and seem to have gone from having an underactive thyroid to now having an overactive thyroid with positive TPO antibodies. My resting heart rate is 85 (used to be 65) and I feel jittery. Even walking pushes

TPO AND TRAB ANTIBODIES & CONFUSED
Firstly thanks for reading. I have Graves’ disease. I have Graves symptoms but these were my antibody test results. I am confused. Will I end up with Hashimoto disease? I have been supplementing with selenium, b12, magnesium for 4 months. Folate was ok and iron was over the range but I think it’s higher

Autoimmune hepatitis?
I was wondering how ppl are diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis? I’ve been experiencing horrible upper right quadrant, right shoulder, right upper back, and right lower back/hip pain constantly since May this year. My tests were initially good but I’ve always had hyperthyroidism so they suggested I do

Salivary cortisol take 2!
Hi there, Brief background - no official diagnosis or meds. Symptoms for roughly a year. Two thyroid nodules, slightly elevated TPO antibodies. Already had great advice here which is much appreciated. As suggested I redid my salivary cortisol test via Regenerous and have attached my results. It seems

A new Endo with attitude
Many of you know my story of Graves Disease\hyperthyroidism. I have had Graves Disease approaching almost 4 years now. I use natural medicine too. I was referred to an Endo 1 year ago who failed to undertake the necessary tests and was very keen to put me on carbimazole straight away having promised

Hypothyroidism and musculoskeletal issues
I am a 61 year old male initially diagnosed in July 2020 with autoimmune thyroidism (Hashimoto’s). I consulted my GP following a private blood test (Thriva, June 2020) taken to check my liver function and vitamin D level (out of range liver function tests ALT - 110 (10-50), GGT - 255 (10-71) since 2014
