Hello again I had my three month bloods and results are as follows: T4 10.6 - range 11.5-22.7 TSH 7.9 - range 0.49-5.23 SIMILAR to my initial blood tests. No TPO mentioned as they were elevated last time eg 1300. I don’t feel I have any obvious symptoms - I think I would know if I did have

cortisol levels
Recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and wondered if anyone has noticed their 9am cortisol levels drop just before thyroid diagnosis? In October, mine was 401 (ref 100-1000) and then in March this year it had dropped to 271. (Got diagnosed around March time with thyroid). I showed it to the endocrinologist

Hi.. My daughter is age 30.. She's been having a lot of symptoms for many years.. As I have hashimoto's I figured I'd get her a private blood test. As she has. A lot of these symptoms. Her gp only tests her tsh so I thought best to get the antibody tests and T 3 done.... Surprising to me it has come

How bad do I need to get before I will be treated?
I’m just wondering how much worse do I need to get before I can get treatment? Do I even need treatment at all? Should I already be on it? I’m still trying to make sense of what my latest blood results mean. I have hypothyroid symptoms and have had them for about 2 years now with new ones developing

Is it normal to feel worse after starting to take levothyroxine?
As per my previous posts I've been experiencing symptoms common to hypo for the last 18 months or so. GP has been averagely dismissive of all of these, but I've recently managed to persuade her to prescribe levo to see whether this alleviates my symptoms. She put me on a dose of 25mcg, and asked me

hi there. Lovely to “meet” you all. For the last two years I’ve felt awful. I’m 56 and in that two years I’ve been diagnosed with microscopic Colitis. I then started experiencing aches, pains, stiff joints and basically feeling old before my time. I’m also getting so fat and even 3 months of strict slimming

Impatient Patient feeling anxious 😬
Hello lovely people. Hope you’re having a good week. I’m day 12 into taking 25mcg of levothyroxine and honestly feeling worse. I seem to be a lot more anxious than I normally am, it’s a kind of unexplainable anxiousness. My legs, ankles and feet get tired and sore very quickly and my ankles seem to

Can I ask for advice please
Hi all, I've been reading many posts since my Rheumatoid Arthritis diagnoses in 2020 and have found invaluable information on many topics and been very impressed by the supportive outlook everyone has. So thought I'd ask for some advice as I'm seeing my GP tomorrow, I was told I have subclinical hypothyroidism

Dental Surgery and bone graft needed. Will prednisone inhibit the bone graft from taking?
Hi everyone! I just had the most painful root canal on my right front tooth last week! So bad I was bodily shaking. I was informed that the infection has been brewing for quite some time and has caused an area of the bone under my nose not to grow around the root. The endodontist put me on an antibiotic

Is this hypothyroidism?
Hello, a friend just had some thyroid blood tests back from Blue Horizon and I wanted to check with you if you think they're hypothyroid. I'll ask permission from her to post the results in detail but for now I can give a basic overview. Background info, she's often tired and cold, and has mental health

Feeling woefully undermedicated……
Hi everyone, A friendly nurse practitioner agreed to run some blood tests for me this week. I remain undiagnosed. I’ve been using Metavive since January and have been trying to switch over to Thyroid S for a couple of months. I’m finding it very difficult to increase my dose (unpleasant side effects

Thoughts on latest test?
Started 50mcg of levo on 29th April 2023 for a TSH of 31 (0.27 - 4.20 lab ranges) and a FT4 of 9 (lab ranges 12 - 22). On 26th May it came down to 4.16 and on my most recent test on 13th June it came down to 3.1. Still not feeling great, legs still feel super heavy and stiff which was one of my main

unable to set up thyroid t4 intolerant?
Hello Fellas, I'm out of Solutions and or Understanding the Situation. I've got Hasimotos and 4,5ml Thyroid left. I tried a lot, but never could get used to T4. Since I've added T3 (Thybon, Henning) just 5micg, it's slightly better. Also tried more, an also T3 only. It wasn't bad but at some
