Bone Pain!

Work - the curse of the Running Class! ;)
So darn busy I let my seventh 'Runaversary' pass by! Yep - June 1st, 2016 I decided to try the crazy-promises App I stumbled across on my new cell phone. C25K itself did not fill me with any confidence - it was a post by a newly graduated young lady who described her struggles with breathing, heavy

Is flecainide a good drug?
I have been very low profile of late because I had nearly two years free of AF - then it came back last Wednesday with a vengeance and refused to go away... This resulted in a trip to the doctor's and then A&E on Thursday because the rate was quite high, blipping up to 150+ bpm. To cut a long story

Nausea and dizziness CKD stage 3b no albuminuria
My 77 year old husband with
CKD
stage 3b who is otherwise healthy ( no CVD, controlled diabetes with HgA1c at 7.0%) got up this morning nauseous and dizzy. I helped him sit down, hydrated with water etc. His blood pressure has been stable 100/70 and his hemoglobin is 12.5g/dL.

Major conditions strategy: call for evidence
The DHSC (in England) is calling for evidence. Now, you and I know that thyroid can be implicated in cancers, cardiovascular disease, including stroke and diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases, dementia, mental ill health and musculoskeletal disorders. Why watermelon is good for us
Only 6.8% of U.S. adults have optimal cardiometabolic health, while an estimated 47 million have cardiometabolic disorders Watermelon contains L-citrulline and L-arginine, which are nitric oxide (NO) precursors; NO helps relax blood vessels and widen arteriesConsuming watermelon juice attenuates reductions

Mis-Information on Internet. BE CAREFUL
I have had afib for 30+ years now and I should know better. I googled afib and dark chocolate which I know is a NO_NO as it has always caused me to go into afib, but I was reading a study from a supposed Dr. who said dark chocolate can help prevent afib episodes. I knew this to be not true but guess

Insomnia
Curious, what is the biggest culprit causing chronic insomnia in my diet Lupron, Zytiga, or Prednisone No matter what time I go to sleep 9,10, or 11. I wake at 3 o'clock every morning. Might be able to grab another hour sometimes. Tried Magnesium L-Threonate, Melatonin, Chamomile tea. Dr gave Trazodone

I am really on the edge now.
I am
ckd
stage 4 with a gfr of 20. I am in two minds about cancelling the whole thing because it has all caused me so much distress. I now find out that I may have to have a contrast dye for the scan of my bladder area.

Do you have CKD and pain in MID back?
Hi everyone, I have
CKD
and some mild liver issues which I believe I have under control now (the liver issues). Does anyone here have kidney problems but feel a pain/swelling in their back more towards the middle of the back as opposed to the typical LOWER back pain?

family friend emphysema requesting cbd oil south west
A family friend has phoned me. His mother has been diagnosed with Emphysema and he is trying to find a pharmacy in Cornwall or Devon that stocks CBD oil with THC in it to provide some relief for her. A US friend said this had helped his father who had COPD. He’s been phoning pharmacies and health

Post MI C25k Week 2 Run 1 ✅
So I was not intending to post every one of the re runs but as I'm sat here with a mug of tea well why not 😊To be honest I was intending to go a little earlier but somehow ended up in a bubble bath 🤣 My calves were aching a little from yesterday's 12657 steps walking ! So a nice relaxing bath before

Managing PVCs
Hi Three years ago I had an ablation for my long standing PAF. Touch wood, I’ve not had a full blown episode since. However over the last 12 months I have been getting an increasing amount of PVC episodes. These often last for two to three days and are really debilitating. Sleep is almost impossible
