Slow rising HCG levels- will I miscarry?
Hi All, Just wondering if there is any one out there with advice on slow rising HCG. I know there’s nothing they can really do about it… but I’ve been trying for years, had failed IVF etc. Fallen pregnant naturally somehow and I’m week 5.5 with HCG levels of 2300 they are not doubling every 48 hours

No Antibodies after Vaccine
Just got my results back for Covid Antibodies after Vaccination. It was Negative with a reported level of less than 0.4(U/mL). I took two doses of Pfizer, 8 weeks apart. I've been on Ibrutinib for CLL for 7 months now, and the first vaccine dose was 3 months after starting treatment. Really peed off

***Sensitive*** 8dp5dt - BFP after a long night at A&E
The title says it all. We went to A&E with OHSS symptoms last night, after a stressful wait to be seen (back home at 3:00am!) they told us we have a Hcg level of 181. Is it good? I know the important part is how numbers grow and then the scan. This is our first ever Ivf and we are NHS funded, I don’t

HCG starting to fall, hope dies hard
Our latest (already low) HCG has started to fall now. From 322 to 266. Got the results in the evening after the scan yesterday. We're supposed to test again in two days and hopefully it will have gone down more, meaning that an ectopic is less likely. I just wonder if I did something to make this happen

1st scan today at 6 weeks
We went in today to see what the heck is going on since my HCG levels are not rising or falling. Last one was 322 from two days ago. We saw a small sac today which the doctor (not our regular doctor, since ours is on vacation) said was "too small." He said a blighted ovum was also a possibility. I did

Going for first scan today at 6 weeks, not optimistic
This all feels a little cruel to me since my HCG seems to have plateaued around just 300, so I can't possibly expect to be able to see anything today. But the HCG is not going down, so we have to see what is happening. I had both Fallopian tubes removed due to hydrosalpinx but apparently they can't rule

HCG stalled around 300, slowly rising
Has anyone had this happen? My doctor is not letting me stop the medications yet. He says he is "not optimistic but we have to wait and see." I had both my tubes removed but he said we still cannot rule out an ectopic pregnancy. I am shocked that I am still being treated as if there is a miniscule chance

Low progesterone
So I got my BFP from an NHS FET on Sunday woohoo! I am on oestrogen (elleste) and progesterone (utrogestan 200mg x3 a day) with them. I have also been having my immune system treated with a private clinic. The day of my transfer the private clinic tested my progesterone and said it was low adding 1 Lubion

No Antibodies shown after taking the Moderna Vaccine
I am new to CLL only a year on W&W. My Lymphs are #10.26 and % is 69.7. WBC is 14.73. I had the Moderna vaccine in Feb and March. Just had an antibody test and the result was negative - no antibodies. To say the least I am heartbroken and disappointed. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should

It’s official Study shows T cells are activated against Covid after vaccination
Just heard on the Irish Radio from Professor Luke O’Neill, a super immunologist in Trinity College Dublin, results of a study on Leukemia patients show T Cells show response to the vaccine. Sorry I can’t remember the name of the study he mentioned . Great news he thought. It’s nature.com and Eureka

Bronchiectasis Breathlessness and Fatigue...any thoughts..
Hello all, not been on for a while. My Mum is 92 and after long term cough and crackling in the lung was diagnosed with mild Bronchiectasis 18 months ago. She survived Covid in Jan this year. However breathlessness is worsening, xray shows nothing untoward. She is in salbutamol, carbosteine ( does anyone

First results of a head-to-head trial of acalabrutinib versus ibrutinib in previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Background: Increased selectivity of the Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor (BTKi) acalabrutinib (Aca) vs ibrutinib (Ib) may improve tolerability. We conducted an open-label, randomized, noninferiority, phase 3 trial to compare Aca vs Ib in patients (pts) with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Methods

CLL: from molecular pathogenesis to novel therapeutic strategies
September 2020 An interesting paper "CLL is a well-defined lymphoid neoplasm with very heterogeneous biological and clinical behavior. The last decade has been remarkably fruitful in novel findings elucidating multiple aspects of the pathogenesis of the disease. These include mechanisms of genetic susceptibility

Screening and monitoring of the BTK C481S mutation in a real-world cohort of patients with relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukaemia
On line abstract report 21 May 2021 The Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor ibrutinib has revolutionised the therapeutic landscape of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). Acquired mutations emerging at position C481 in the BTK tyrosine kinase domain are the predominant genetic alterations associated

Hcg not rising enough
I am feeling quite shattered. I got my bfp on 26/7 with hcg of 217. Got repeat bloods one week later. Hcg 930. Nurse says they are very concerned as the rate of rise is not enough. So to hope for the best but plan for the worst. I have repeat bloods on Thursday morning. This was our last chance with

Two IVF cycles, two miscarriages—is this good or bad?
So it seems that I am most likely on my way to having my second miscarriage. I got a BFP this week but it does not look good. I've now had two ICSI cycles, both of which resulted in two embryos each. Two transfers per cycle, the second of which resulted in a pregnancy both times. Our first pregnancy

HCG is not climbing fast enough, only 296 18dp5dt
This is a really hard process. Our doctor was concerned that our HCG was climbing too slowly and that seems to be correct. Here are our numbers: 12dp5dt: 76 14dp5dt: 139 16dp5dt: 227 18dp5dt: 296 I want to ask if there is any hope but it seems like there isn't. EDIT: Since it seems like I will be losing
