I picked up a bad cold last week and took Boots Ultra Cold and Flu relief (same ingredients as Lemsip etc). After 5 sachets over a couple of days I woke up in the morning back

When do I insist on seeing the gastric doctors at hospital again.
I wrote in here before about the various medications the GP is prescribing to help with the violent spasms after food getting stuck. I now have domperidone added to the mix of imipramine, amitriptyline pregabalin, ranitidine omeprazole, dapagliflozin, metformin, levothyroxin, and atorvostatin, chlorphenamine

FCR Cycle 4 (For CLL) - Itchy Rash
Hello all CLL enthusiasts. I have just finished cycle 4 of my 6 cycle FCR treatment after being on 8-9 years W&W. I am on the FLAIR trial, but got randomly sorted into the current treatment. In hindsight I am not too disappointed as FCR is the current gold standard treatment, it hasn't been too bad to

Anyone had adverse side effects taking phenylephrine whilst on thyroid replacement?
Hi, I have an awful cold and could really use some decongestant in order to get a decent night's sleep. I have read you shouldn't take sudafed etc..whilst taking levo and assume it's the same for ndt. However in the instructions for my supermarket own brand it only advises against taking them if you

Itchy Skin!
Looking for any ideas to help. My itchy skin is driving me mad! It can happen any time of day but seems worse in the evening and during the night. I am currently taking 8mg a day of Chlorphenamine to help it, but seems to no longer work. What causes the itch and what can I do? My arms are getting sore

POST NASAL DRIP - what is it ?
Every day, glands in the lining of your nose, throat, airways, stomach, and intestinal tract produce about 1 to 2 quarts of mucus -- a thick, wet substance that moistens these areas and helps trap and destroy foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses before they can get into your body and cause infection

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in November 2012. I was referred to a Endo who started me on 40ug of carbimazole and then introduced thyroxine in February 2013 to begin a block and replace regime. I'm not sure when the eye problems started as I probably blamed the symptoms on tierdness, stress,
