Time has really flown & I can safely say that with some help of Champix, this forum, my boyfriend’s encouragement & air smoking a straw for a while...lol, the cravings passed & I very rarely even think of smoking. It hardly crosses my mind anymore.

Has anyone ever taken Chantix? If so what are your thoughts/reactions from the medicine? Di it work for you?

I feel like I needed more help this time so got a prescription of Champix and am on my 8th day! I have been now nicotine free for 24 hours, and honestly what a miracle drug. I do not feel like smoking at all! BUT my energy levels are so so low.

I am on week 4 of champix and 3 weeks no cigs. Nausea horrid I take am and pm dose with food but although that helps I am not sure I can keep feeling sick for 12 weeks but know they r helping. Although nauseous eating heaps which is weird.

No sickness though... be interested to hear from others who have quit using champix, especially if you’ve had a pypass like me

Anyone trying Chantix for help with gait, balance and freezing?

In the process of mourning her death I completely forgot to continue with champix(I was almost on day 28),but I never touched a cigarrette. Should I go back to champix? considering it's been 14 days off,I am also worried the stress around my mom's passing my cause me to smoke.

Hi my lovelies, well yesterday I totally forgot to take my Champix, would you recommend I carry on taking them or just leave it and see how I go?

Ive been on it for a few days now and just feel like ass I'm loopy, seeing things, I can't sleep, not hungry puking constantly. What should I do

Note I will NOT stop taking Champix. Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same.

This is my 2nd time with Champix, first made me so sick. This time I don't take it without food! So far so good. I'm on day 12 of Champix. Im still smoking tho😣. I was a pack & 1/2 a day. Now 1-2 cig a day. I have a puff & but it out. I'm having it when I'm really agitated.

On week 4 of champix and 21 days smoke free,best wishes to everyone let's keep fighting this monster.

I gave up smoking on 21st May (I'm on day 9) I am doing this with Champix and stopped on day 14 of Champix and up to now doing really well. I had a very stressful day yesterday and didn't smoke so I was quite proud of myself. Is anyone else on Champix? Monica x

Hi Guys Just an update that i'm still doing well, still on champix. no bad cravings at all. Its just the thought that comes and goes, that i need a smoke but it goes away.

Hi all, I’m on day 14 of champix, I tried them before years ago and they made me too tired and I stopped. This time I figured being tired for a few months was worth it to quit.

I've been using champix to help me stop. They have been great but the side effects have been hard going. Ive been reading a few postes on here about champix and just wondering what I should do. I've been feeling so down and not really waiting to do anything.

Day 1 of champix. I read a lot of posts on here before taking it. I had a couple of rich tea biscuits water tablet then another biscuit with more water. Thanks for all the posts. It really helped me as have been really nervous about taking champix. Let’s do this 💪🏼

Anyway I've started my Champix and it's making me super nauseous...any tips besides take with lots of water after food?? Blech I feel awful :(

Now with Champix I’m not having any cravings but there is pain in the left side of my chest especially when I bend over or try to do push ups. The pain comes and goes when I’m walking not putting pressure on it. Also today the 11th day I feel a headache all of a sudden n unwell in general.

Today is my 13th day on Champix and and it has helped me reduce the number of cigarettes from 12 to no more than 2 a day. I have set my quit date for tomm (18th May 2018). My question is, how do I do this? should I get rid of lighters, cigarettes, ash trays etc....
