Who qualifies for continuing health care (CHC).
Good Morning, My dad was diagnosed with
CBD
in May 2021 (symptoms began way before this). My mom is his full time carer. I help on my non working days. We receive AM & PM (wake up & put to bed calls) from a local care agency, which is a god send for my mom.

With that being said, I've heard a lot about
cbd
being quite helpful for the chronic pains. I do already take amitriptyline for the pains but need something else alongside it.

Taking part in Watchman trial to establish if it’s safe to come off anti-coagulants like Apixaban
Good afternoon everyone. On Thursday I am scheduled to go for a procedure to have a Watchman device fitted inside my heart at John Radcliffe Hospital here in Oxford under supervision of the Cardiac Research Team. I volunteered to do this as part of a world wide trial covering 3000 patients to assess

Grateful for any Feedback on PVI Ablation Please
Hi, My background is:- Developed Atrial Fibrillation in November 2021 (persistent from day 1). Had a cardioversion in February 2022, which lasted about 7 weeks and then back into persistent AF, looking back I carried on as normal after the cardioversion and perhaps I should have been more careful.

cbd
gummies, medical marijuana, etc. Spent a fortune and have not found my miracle. I guess I will keep trying though because this rls is the worst thing you can have. No one can understand unless you experience it!

A LITTLE CONFUSED
Just got back from the VA emergency room where I was told to go immediately by the VA nurse advice hotline. Fell asleep in my computer chair and when I awoke I put my oximeter on my finger and it showed a reading for heart rate of 37 but after a couple of blips went right up to normal which is around

Resilience of Wattle
I’m not moving far but she isn’t gonna be just upstairs if i need her :/… I’ve just started using
CBD
oil (all legal) as it helps a few family friends with their aches and pains. I have noticed a difference but it’s not a big enough difference.

Spirononolactone and Dapaglifloxin.
In my copy of a letter from my EP to my GP he has suggested that I should start taking the above 2 medications. This has not been discussed with me despite a 6 monthly phone call with my EP a couple of weeks ago! I will be talking to my GP about this proposal but wondered if anyone else had experience

mystery if breathlessness and fatigue uncovered
a few weeks ago I posted about the fairly random bouts of breathlessness and fatigue that I was experiencing and which I thought might be linked to eating. I’ve now had a chat with my arrhythmia nurse and she suggested it is probably paroxysmal AF. That made complete sense when she said it. The experience

Review of the Wellue 24 hour heart monitor with AI analysis.
I have bought one of these and am very impressed with what it detects and reports. See https://getwellue.com/products/heart-health-monitor Has an optional chest strap included so you can clip the monitor direct to the strap rather than use the adhesive pads. Detects up to 17 kinds of ECG events. When

Dexa scan
I had to have a Dexa scan last Wednesday, arranged by Endocrinologist I’ve only seen once and discharged at conclusion of the appointment. Saw GP yesterday (appt made nearly a month ago after Endo appt) who said I would need medication if osteoporosis identified in scan (as TSH suppressed!). The side

Raised cholesterol
I have been advised to take cholesterol medication by nhs endocrinologist. He did genetic testing for familial hyperlipidemia, which was negative but had an anomaly. I was given Atirvastatin which I haven’t tried as it seems to be one that has worse side effects for patients with thyroid disease. I

how do you deal with sudden dizziness
hi My husband has a fib since being diagnosed in 2018. He is an otherwise fit and healthy 76 year old. Walks a lot not overweight no smoking and no alcohol since diagnosis. Is on digoxin and Rivaroxaban once a day. He gets a fib on average for about 24 hours every few weeks. Never found a trigger.

Diagnosed with stable angina
For the last few weeks I have had intermittent chest pain, sometimes at rest rather than when walking. I went to see a GP yesterday and she insisted that I go to A and E immediately, offering to to call for an ambulance immediately, which I declined. She was concerned about the possibility of unstable

What should i do? Been in afib for over 48 hrs.
Hi all, i have been in afib for over 48 hrs. Prior to the AFib episode while struggling somewhat to clamber up sand dunes with my dog i became aware of pain between shoulder blades and across shoulders which was a minor concern at the time but the pain continued way into the night.
