Hello,
if a person has very narrow angles, it is not uncommon for lens replacement to be offered after the iridotomy. This can open the angle even more up to 30%. A research paper was done called the Eagle study which showed the benefits of having both done. I have attached the link for you and anyone else who is interesting in finding out more about it.
