Something Seems Off With my Smartwatch Heart rate Readings
I usually wait at least 1 & 1/2 hours, after taking my
Cartia
, before I start a brisk 35-60 min. walk. Sometimes, my heart rate will register a very high spike, at the start of my exercise, going from 64 to anywhere between 115-177, for a second and then right back to normal.

Cardiovascular Protections from Omega 3 supplements now Doubtful
I have been taking a combined Omega3 supplement (EPA and DHA fish oil)to improve my cardiovascular risk profile along with a statin, baby ASA and careful BP management. I am a carnivore/omnivore but only eat fish twice per week usually. (Please don’t beat me up over my diet PBWF folks!) I am not diabetic

hello to you all, I was diagnosed tachycardia with Flutter in June last year and as I have low BP and could not tolerate meds apart from Edoxaban 30mg daily plus I kept being sent to A&E due to feeling very poorly with balance issues caused by my low BP I was referred to an EP who decided as Bisosporol

Can a new drug mimic the effects of exercise on bone and muscle?
Looks like this is something we should look forward to and keep an eye out for approval. Researchers have recently discovered that a new drug called locamidazole may help to prevent loss of bone density and muscle mass during periods of inactivity, but it’s no substitute for all of the benefits of exercise

Ablation recovery
My husband had a cardiac ablation 10 days ago . On discharge he wasn't given any information other than rest. We don't know what recovery looks like? He is extremely tired after just a little bit of exertion eg he folded up his clothes and tidied his wardrobe yesterday, calmly, slowly. And was then exhausted

Periodic episodes of fluctuating tachycardia while in AFib.
Never had any heart problems until early 2020. I'm a rather robust yet strong guy , late 40s. I suspect COVID may have had something to do with it. Never vaccinated either..went to e.r after having AFib for 16 hrs. Was blacking out at work. Thought I was going to die. Spent 2 days in hospital. Echocardiogram

Full Blood Count Test Results
Hiya, I’ve had a lot of help on this forum in regards to making some sense of my thyroid blood test results and I was wondering if anyone is able to advise with these results too. They are out of date as they are from December 2022 but they are the tests I was given when my hypothyroid symptoms started

Thyroid Blood Test Results
Hi all, I finally managed to get a copy of my thyroid blood test results but there is so little information on there that I’m unsure of what I should do next. I’ve posted before but my situation is that I had a partial thyroidectomy back in July 2022 and I’ve been getting symptoms such as tiredness

Post Partial Thyroidectomy Symptoms
Hi all! I had a partial thyroidectomy back in July as I had a benign cyst on the left side and I’ve been feeling worse and worse as of late. Terrible brain fog, tiredness, losing my hair, gaining weight, mood swings, awful skin problems, puffiness in my hands, fingers and eyes and horrific lower back

Personalized mRNA vaccine more
[i]
based on our current understanding of science and medicine, we have reason to be cautiously optimistic that mRNA vaccines, in combination with checkpoint inhibitors, might provide yet another incremental advance toward more effective cancer treatment.

just started on levothyroxine
I have been taking levothyroxine for just over 2 months. My gp started me on a very low dose of 25mg and I’m due bloods in a month. After about 4 weeks it felt like my tiredness had improved and I was feeling more energetic but the last few weeks I feel back to square one again. I had a partial thyroidectomy
