i recently discovered a new health channel on YouTube

Dr. Peter Attia, M.D. (degree from Stanford University)

He specializes in "human longevity."

He is also the first person to make the round-trip swim from Maui and Lanai.

He personally fasts ... 3 days straight every month (formerly he practiced 7 days, water-only -- fasting every quarter!)

Today is DAY #384 of my O.M.A.D. (one meal a day with all calories eaten within a 2 hour window). So this doctor is very inspiring to me!

He has HUNDREDS of '2 - 3 hour!' interviews with other top-notch health specialists. I listen to them in bed (as much as I can as it always puts me gently to sleep)...

i didn't know he had one, thanks for the tip.... he's VERY inspirational with his 'personal 3 day and 7 day fasting' ... today is day #384 of my O.M.A.D. diet (all calories eaten within a 2 hour window) ... i've lost almost 60 pounds and my PD-like (i'm not dx'd) are in 'check'

I'm working on it, doing 2 meals a day, I've lost 7 lbs in 1 month. don't really need to lose much weight (I weigh 120 and am 5'5") but I have horrible numbers, am prediabetic. Hoping this helps.

I love him. I am a huge fan!

gaga1958--do you watch your carbs and sugar? That might be more important than fasting, especially if you are worried about losing too much. I bet he'd have you wearing a continuous glucose monitor and paying attention: if a food causes a glucose spike, then it's not for you.
