Failed Dc Cardioversion
I recently posted of my Frankenstein procedure and some asked me to follow up. Here goes... Alas, it was nice while it lasted. I had a blissful and reflective nine days of NSR with an average of my old 62 resting bpm heart rate. Failure was always on the cards as my heart was banging around a bit

Update: Breathless after Catheter Ablation..Phrenic Nerve Injury????
His next suggestion was another
Cardioversion
and back onto Amiodarone. The next visit he suggested Mum had Diastolic Dysfunction. The next visit was the arteries/veins are narrowing. Then we went to another EP for a 2nd opinion. Fresh eyes.

My DC Cardioversion.
My
Cardioversion
. I’m 60. I weighed 23 stone and I am 6’4” First symptoms occurred last August while I was at work. I did high pressure pipe fitting and commissioning on large systems. Getting out of the van early in the morning, i went light headed and had to sit down.

Advice required for Amioderone for AF and Atrial flutter
This will then prepare me for a
cardioversion
( restart) in the next 6 weeks prior to having my operations later on in the year. My question is have any of you readers been prescribed Amioderone???? What are the side effects you’ve had from it....... plus the good points of using it!!

Then a recent addition of Armiodarone 200 mg (in preparation for a second attempt at
Cardioversion
) plus a second 5 mg dose of Apixaban after evening meal. Any thoughts?

Constant AF and not good ablation candidate
I've had a failed
cardioversion
last month and now I've been told I'm not a good candidate for an ablation which really upset me – I was told by EP that I have severe myocardiopathy. I'd like to hear from others who have been told they are not good ablation candidates.

“Self-cardioverters” - read on!
Interested in anyone’s experience or understanding of self
cardioversion
with exercise. This is my anecdotal evidence: 10 minutes cycling uphill at high intensity (= can’t go any faster!) works.
