I have permanent AF without obvous symptoms - should I take up an offer to have catheter ablation?
So I had the
cardioversion
and am now out of hospital and (temporarily) in sinus rythm. I feel great but I was not so bad before, its really hard for me to assess just how much benefit I have from being in sinus rythm.

RLS free for a week!
In the meantime I got cellulitis in my lower right leg, which led to atrial fibrillation of 170 beats a minute and five nights in hospital, and then a
cardioversion
(which worked fine yaye).

Considering cardioversion
Hi there, I am now considering a
cardioversion
. Recently gone into persistent AF and if my energy levels are reduced, this may be an option. I am 72 years old.

Irritated lungs / breathing passages
Ablation was nearly two years ago,
cardioversion
two years in October. My GP says probably “silent reflux” so has doubled my PPI for the next couple of weeks. Only other factor is I have had three migraines in the last month, usually two a year!

Apixaban and alcohol.
I'm due a heart scan, 24hr. monitor and maybe
cardioversion
but all this has been delayed. I was put on 2.5mg bisoprolol and 5mg apixaban twice a day. A I felt really sluggish in the morning after a few weeks and my HR was around 40 BPM at night.
