Stuck. Help Plz.
Hi, thanks for all the info here. I’ve been reading for hours, think I’ve tried to absorb too much too quickly as my brain feels like it’s going to pop! I’ve been feeling nauseous with low pain headaches for a month so had a GP apt last week. Bloods were done and all appears normal apart from thyroid

Why ADT after Ray treatment?
OK, I'm sure there is a logical answer to this question but at present it is evading me. So for all of us who decide to take the ADT path for a few months to stabilize our PCa and then hit it with the big guns such as a month (or more) of IMRT and in my case a follow-up of HDR Brachy Boost therapy,

Thyroid Gland Swelling etc...
Hi, I think my thyroid gland may be a little inflamed. Over the past 4 - 5 days the area around my gland has felt a little achy. It comes and goes, and is not painful, but I am aware of a slight ache. I doesn't seem to have worsened and doesn't show any visual signs of inflammation, and it is not painful

Advice about recent NDT thyroid blood tests and high SHBG
Hi there! Is there any connection between high SHBG and taking NDT thyroid medication? I've been feeling better than ever on my Erfa thyroid medication and I don't feel over medicated at all, but I had high SHBG. My estradiol also seems high. I've read that one reason for high SHBG can be hyperthyroidism

Break from ADT or not?
Hi everyone, my Dad was recommended 18-24 months of Lupron/Zytiga/Prednisone after Radiation Therapy. We reached that time and MO said that is up to my Dad if he wants to continue the treatment or not. Lately my dad had high blood pressure over 200 and he ended up in ER, but now the blood pressure is

Hi allI have been feeling ropey,v lethargic and a bit slow for a few months now, despite increase in Levothyroxine. I had attributed this to constant blood loss(months) following HRT which didn't suit me,however this stopped 2 months ago. Previous blood tests showed haemoglobin on the low side so have

HRT and migraines
I'd be interested to know if there are women out there who can definitely say that taking HRT has helped them with migraines. I know that the research says that there is no evidence that it helps, if anything, probably makes it worse. Or were you prescribed some medication for menopause and it actually

Recurrence after prostatectomy
I have a relative who had surgery 6.5 years ago. Pathology was very favorable, 3+3+tertiary 4 i.e. less than 5%, no pos margins, no ECE, no nodes. He remained undetectable for 6.5 years, but now is .07 verified. What would SOC be for him? Prostate bed or wide radiation, length of ADT, just Lupron or

Does ADT work for Gleason 9?
About to start ADT for Gleason 9 (5+4) for locally advanced prostate cancer, followed by IMRT in 1-2 months. (Plan to ask about HDR boost). ADT working mechanism
I was just wondering, I heard dr. Richard Joel Wassersug Saying that ADT works well and better if you continue with it but if you start and stop, start and stop, it doesn’t work as well. Did all of you from your own experiences found this to be the case based on your experiences? Thanks for any feedback

thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)
Warriors: Recently, I posted about 1 year side effects. Thank you for all of your responses. My SEs got the best of me and I’m writing from a hospital bed. The current theory is I have TTP, which is associated with hormonal therapy. I wanted to write and see if any of you have had the misfortune
