Last year after a
cardiac
arrest
and a triple bypass, I started taking Atorvastatin but stopped following getting cramps and spasms in my calves in the early morning (3am to 7am). I would have to get out of bed and stretch my leg to ease out of the spasm.

Cardiac Ablation completed.
Just a small note this Friday afternoon to thank all of the responders on here for their kind support. Had my ablation on Wednesday, general anaesthetic due to having a TOE. My EP noted aberrant impulses from the pulmonary veins so they were dealt with. Overnight stay and now home for rest. My

PVC's - when to seek further medical advice?
Hi everyone, After several years of symptomatic and worsening Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation and Premature Atrial Contractions, I had a cardiac ablation in January 2021 that was very, very succesful - I would heartily recommend an ablation (sorry for that pun!). I have had the odd, rare episode

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
After my last post, my father underwent spinal cord decompression surgery - they did laminectomy and partial corpectomy of the fractured vertebrae and did pedicular screw fixation to stabilize the spine. It's been 2 weeks since surgery and he is prescribed bed rest for 4-6 weeks. After 1-2 more weeks

numbness, bruising and tingeling in leg after cardiac ablation
I had a cardiac ablation 9 days ago. After a week after the operation and extensive bruising I felt a sensation like a tight elastic aged band around my knee then sharp pain in my leg where numbness developed. I understand it happened because the nerve might had been pressed by the enlarged vein and

hi everyone, I had a CRTD pacemaker with defib inserted about 18 days ago as I had a
cardiac

in hospital after being given a loading dose of digoxin whilst on Dronederone, following a cardioversion that initially worked but then put me into afib with high heart rate.
