Taking two different blood pressure tablets each day - when best to take them?
My GP said to take the 2 blood pressure tablets at different times of the day, the Lisinopril (an ACE inhibitor) in the morning as usual and the Lercanidipine a
calcium
channel blocker) later in the day. I've started to take the Lercanidipine at 6pm, 12 hours after the Lisinopril.

My
calcium
is also high this time as well as cholesterol and HDL cholesterol. My doctor is going to phone me tomorrow to discuss these results but I just wondered if anyone has any advice as i know the doctor will just try to fob me of as usual and ignore my symptoms.

Priorities for achalasia research
This comes up as a high priority in our discussions to date, and we aim to try and identify a clinical research fellow working for a consultant with an interest in achalasia who would investigate the various medications (nitrates,

Eyelid twitching
Could this be
calcium
related? I have worked hard increasing vitamin levels but do not take
calcium
. Had eye test in January as eyes were blurry but eye sight very good. Optician just said ‘hormone related’. I am seeing endocrinologist in two weeks. I am dairy free following endo’s advice.

Rising Calcium
I know
calcium
is very very tightly regulated mineral in the body and I know it can't be much out of range without causing some serious problems but I'm just wondering if anybody else has had a rise in
calcium
? It appears the high end is 10.5 for my lab.

I feel a bit left to my own devices but I'm not worried
I told him I was taking vit D and
calcium
and magnesium and omega 3 fish oil which he grunted in agreement with. Since then I have had a chest xray and he has just sent me a blood card for a whole array of things and his handwriting is worse than his speech!

Probiotic caused me diarrhea!
Hello, I have been taking probiotic spec for the gut, 25 billion live bacteria; it also includes digestive aid and vegan
calcium
. It’s been roughly 3 months and for the past 2-3 weeks I started to get diarrhea. At first thought it was my medication or vitamin?

Very low D2 and Osteoporosis
Taking
calcium

Is my panic negating the anesthetics?
I don't like the dentist I don't like the doctor I don't like the hairdresser. Anybody that comes at my face with sharp things I have serious issues with. Knowing this my primary care provider advised me to take a larger dose of Valium an hour before the appointment and when the appointment started.

Osteoporosis worries
The rheumatologist said the results showed I only needed to take
calcium
tablets but I’m not convinced. Years of low activity and weakness leave me worried about osteoporosis?! Any advice appreciated 🙂
