Need help finding Diet App for tracking dietary intake
I have been monitoring my intake but no formal or efficient way to track daily intake: protein, sodium, potassium,
calcium
, phosphorous, sugar, fat, calories, etc.I also track water intake, which is much easier. I've been writing down what I eat, but this is so time consuming.

Gemcitibane/intravenous zoledronic acid
I was given intravenous zoledronic acid which, although it worked to lower the
calcium
, caused me a lot of nasty and painful side effects, some of which I'm still suffering now, still living on painkillers, so I am very reluctant to have that drug again.

Also Inspired by Paul's Post: beta blocker vs. calcium channel blocker
After a few months of no meds (besides apixaban), my cardio and I tried the
calcium
channel blocker Cardizem (diltiazem). It has worked MUCH better, reducing the number and frequency of episodes. It does dampen my pulse, but my BP seems to be holding steady.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with hypercalciuria (excess calcium in urine) causing osteoporosis?
I wonder if these could be enough to improve my
calcium
leakage.

Sharing good news
my consultant said he was surprised that the results were so positive due to my many years as as a smoker. ( not smoked for ten years) The upshot was
calcium
score 132 I’m 66. LAD mildly blocked. So with meds and more lifestyle changes sounds manageable at this time.

I exercise five times a week and do some light back exercises with bands and take appropriate
calcium
and D. I also take 25 mg levothyroxine for my thyroid, but those numbers are fine.

Calcium channel blocker dosage
Hi all, I am on Cordilox (AKA Verapamil) which is a
calcium
channel blocker. Currently taking 2x40 mg twice a day = 160mg/day. Cardiologist suggested I change to one SLOW RELEASE 180mg tablet/day. When I asked. why he kind of said it will result in more even levels of the drug through the day.

Update - strontium citrate
I read some research in Australia that said to take the strontium citrate by opening the capsule and mixing it into a glass of water on an empty stomach or away from
calcium
or
calcium
foods. I am only taking 250 mgs per day bc I read there could be a risk of stroke with too much.

6 month transplant anniversary!!! Whoo hoo
And my hyperparathyroid condition, which predates the transplant, is still hanging around as well; although, my
calcium
and phosphorous levels remain in the normal range. There is a surgery that can be done to resolve this issue permanently if needed.

Newly Diagnosed
I was told to continue with Vitamin D and
Calcium
daily. It did absolutely nothing. After doing some research, and with the numbers I had, I should have definitely been scanned again before 3 years/3 months later. November 2021 my left femur went "up" 0.9 points from -1.9 to -2.8.

Calcium d glucarate
The vitamin is called
calcium
d glucarate. You can buy it from Amazon. I open the capsule and put about 1:6, in a small sip of water and mix it (it floats somewhat) so, I had my dad take a quick sip each time.
