I am in hospital in Spain (on holiday) suffering from pain of the esophagus sphincter ...basically every time I eat I am in agony. ...they have given me Buscapan which seems to be working ie I have eaten 2 soft meals with no pain but I have just read up about it and it says don't take if you suffer from

Literally sat there for 20 mins going from normalish then absolute diarrhoea then had stomach cramps for around an hour I take buscopan as I’ve been told for years it’s IBS but with having severe Endo I’m really not sure anymore. Does anyone else get bowel flare ups like this ?

Will be trying Buscopan alongside treatment this cycle. Long shot in here but would like To hear success stories

I take 3 buscopan a day to help with cramps.

I’ve just been prescribed buscopan to see if that helps as my bowel is mangled with my left ovary and uterus. Anyone else have this and gave you found anything that helps?

the pill running packs 4 3months, had the coil fitted while under for removal of endometriosis last Feb but since December I have had prolonged pain worse than b4 op and the doc says its just a pain I will have to live with I spend at least once a wk possibly twice in bed in agony , take cocodamol buscopan

I’ve been taking buscopan and paracetamol and I’ve also been given spasmanol. Nothing works. I have a heatpad continuously with me. can anyone advise anything else I can take? Oh and the dr gave me omeprazole although I don’t really suffer heartburn symptoms.

Hi as anyone taken Buscopan and Dulcolax together

I went to my doctor and he sent me home with buscopan, then later after pushing for asnwers, I had a internal ultrasound which was found to be clear and so were my AMH levels. After this there was no follow up and I let it slip to the back of my mind and tried my best to just get on with it.

My oncologist has suggested Buscopan usually for IBS to try to help dry up secretions. Has anyone any similar problems or solutions please. What a roller coaster ride this is!

My Cardiologist, lately, indicated to take Buscopan...!!!he didn't explain me what for. Any ideas a most welcome. thanks.

I've been told to keep taking the Movicol to take some pressure off my body overreacting to my bowels trying to do their job and the usual routine of buscopan, a hot water bottle and a good nap if the pain gets intolerable.

I can’t get an appointment with a dietitian due to Covid so I’m just being given buscopan, mebeverine, and dulcolax. I can go over a week without going and I can’t remember the last time I went “naturally”.

etc. it’s continued consistently all through the months up to now and the doctors have no idea what it is. they gave me meds for stomach ulcers which had no affect and stool softeners for constipation. i was originally on lactulose but it made me feel sick so now i’m on laxido. along with that i’m on buscopan

I have Mebeverine and Buscopan in my meds cupboard, but not taken anything except paracetamol, which hasn't touched it at all. Help, I am desperate and tired because the pain is keeping me from sleeping. Thank you.

Hi I’m looking to see if anyone can advise or recommend whether it better too take buscopan or mebevrin instead it mainly for the cramp but bloating the doc did suggest buscopan but I take amatrytline and it does say that buscopan taken with this can cause side effects so I’m not sure how has anybody

I have seen the doctor and am taking buscopan and paracetamol neither of which are helping much. I have just been prescribed coedine as a last resort.

She diagnosed this as IBS and told me to take buscopan whenever I had symptoms, so I did. The buscopan worked for the first 2 weeks. As of now, specifically last night, I woke up earlier hours in the morning feeling extremely sick and had very runny poops, close enough to diarrhea.

I’m taking buscopan but it’s not really helping me like it use to , near enough every time I eat I’m bad afterwards I’ve got all the normal symptoms but I sometimes get the odd stabbing pain in my back or stomach it last a second but it worries me.
