Ibrance used to cost $6000 a month in New Zealand, but I am very lucky as it is now free.

Yes, my medications have made it to the Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme in Australia too. It would be costing me thousands of dollars otherwise. i am so grateful to our public health scheme.

I’m very happy for you! I live in the USA and my ibrance cost me 9000.00 dollars a year! Just horrible! I have hope that maybe our government can maybe solve this problem for patients like us!

I am also in the US and just started medicare. I applied to the Pfizer Patient Assistance program and get it for free. There are also Grants through the PAN Foundation. There is also co pay assistance through Pfizer if you have commercial insurance.

Thank you for your reply, but I was told by PAN and Pfizer that my husband and I make too much money. We are both retired and worked very hard for our money. So this is the price we have to pay for saving money. Just not right

We’re in the same position and no, it isn’t right. We deserve better and affordable healthcare in this country. Our health should not be jeopardized if we cannot afford prescribed medications. It’s enough to have cancer without worrying about cost of treatment. Wishing you all the best. X Kathleen

Thank you Kathleen. It does help to know I’m not the only one in this situation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy for everyone who has managed to get this medication free, I just hope and pray that maybe someday we can benefit from it also!

I've been in Ibrance for over 3 years and it's been paid for by various grant programs. It's about $12K a month in the US...who can afford that?

I also live in the US. I asked the specialty pharmacy how much the Ibrancebis per month, if someone were to pay full price for it. It is $14,192. per month, for someone without assistance. CRAZY!
