For those of you on Ibrance.
Hello all, For those of you on Ibrance, how long has it/did it work for you? Was it your first line of treatment, second, third? Do you have lobular or ductal cancer? Thanks!

General Anesthesia for Biopsy
I have hesitantly decided to follow my Urologist’s recommendation and get a prostate biopsy (more on my situation in this thread https://healthunlocked.com/prostate-cancer-community/posts/146729819/reconsidering ) …and my doctor has agreed to perform the biopsy transperineally at my request but has

Ibrance not working? Update
Update following on from my previous post a few weeks back. Had MRI on Tuesday and got the call from my oncologist yesterday. There has been progression - the emphasis was ‘slight’ but none the less progression… I’m to remain on ibrance (yay…what I wanted) and zoladex but ditch the letrozole/Femara

Fast heartrate not a symptom of being undermedicated.
Just spoke to doctor and he says if your undermedicated, it will cause bradycardia NOT tachycardia and having read replies to my previous posts, this appears to be untrue. I'm just so frustrated and angry having to deal with doctors who don't know what they're talking about, God help us all!!!

blurry eyes from medications
Hi, I'm new here. I have mets in brain, lungs, liver and bones. I was diagnosed a year ago. I am 64. I'm on Ibrance and Arimidex. About 6 months ago my eyesight got cloudy and blurry. It is not painful, but annoying. I can drive safely, but I have to concentrate. I have seen my optometrist and

Pneumonitis from Ibrance
Greetings to All you lovely people: Has anyone on Ibrance had any experience with pneumonitis? I know that this a rare serious lung inflammation that can happen while on Ibrance (or drugs like it) and I know from discussions with my Oncologist that it is something you definitely do NOT want to get.

Checking pulse daily hugely beneficial
When my GP diagnosed AFib I was given Bisopropol 😔 swiftly changed to Nebivolol and Apixaban and for weeks I just felt rotten most of the time. I then subscribed to technology which gave me unlimited reports on what my heart was up to at any time of the day or night. Reports were consistently showing

Good News after 8 months on Ibrance 125, fulvestrant and Xgeva.
Hi everyone Good news everything stable after latest scan and also oncologist happy that my pleural tumour has shrunk. She is leaving me to Feb 2022 for next scan. Lucky I’ve had minimum of side effects and able to work and play full time lol. I do think changing my diet has helped me to feel a lot

Check Your Ibrance Pills Upon Receiving Them
Hi lovely people, My pills are delivered by carrier to my front door. My last order I only received 2 of the 3 packs in the box. Each pack has 7 pills. Since Ibrance costs so much my brother keeps track of the pills, so I don't forget and take 2 pills the same day, and lets me know when the week

Ibrance and Infection protocol?
Hi Lovely People, I searched for “Ibrance and infection” on the board and found a few threads, but none that discuss this problem in depth. I’ve been on a lower dose of Ibrance, 100 mg, for 6 months now, 125 mg before that. Side effects were too extreme—pain, exhaustion, etc—so my oncologist lowered

Any people's experiences taking Faslodex and /or Ibrance
I had a mastecomy just over a week ago and yesterday the doctor mentioned about going on the above mentioned drugs. I had Stage 3 breast cancer in 2017 with lumpectony, chemo and radiation and just had a Stage 1 reoccurence in same breast which is why they did the mastectomy. Know there are several serious

PVC’s or ectopic beats
Hi, I was diagnosed with paroxysmal afib at 43 in 2017 and had catheter ablation in March this year. Afib returned for a couple of hours twice but was in the 3 month blanking period so was ok. Stopped the flecainide and verapamil 2 months after procedure as advised by surgeon and need to say it feels

Different AF Types
I have noticed that I get two types of AF periods. One is where my heart goes into an irregular beat but stays within the normal pulse rate. The other is where it jumps to around 160bpm and is irregular. Is there a difference in the two and how long can you leave the high heart rate before thinking

AV block and Supraventricular tachycardia runs...
Hi everyone, Am fairly new here (diagnosis mid April) and my first post ... but have been reading you all lots and it has really helped me understand things and be less anxious, and you all sound so nice :). I have a question I would be so grateful if any of you could shed some light on what it means
