Hi all Iām just trying to search how long some of you may have been on Faslodex for?Months/years/still going strong? Hair loss
I have been on Ibrance and letrozole for seven months now. My hair has been thinning quite a bit. I tried parting it different ways, headbands wide enough to cover my balding spots in front, and scarves. I lost my hair before with my last treatment, I didnāt have a choice. This time was different because

How do you cope w ith being told you have PAF along with your other cardiac problems
Having had AVRT for over 35 years controlled by drugs my tachycardia has now broken through the meds. Zio monitor has now shown PAF and Troponin is elevated. Started on Apixaban last week but have had to stop it as it totally wiped me out. How does one cope with all this without stressing oneself

Surgery went well, thanks for all the words of support.
It was actually a short procedure, less than an hour. Anesthesia has advanced a lot! A nerve block allows minimal anesthesia, keeps you just under but no waking nausea, not too much fogginess. . They also put an injected anesthetic in my shoulder which releases slowly for as much as five days(more usually

Monsters under the bed
So after 2 and a half years my Ibrance and Fulvestrant Combo has failed. When I started I was the 11th person in my province to start that combination. The doctor was skeptical and we would call it a success if I could get 6 good months. well I got 5 times that. I have 5 weeks off to recoup a treatment

Macmillan Cancer support coffee morning success
Organised a coffee morning at work in Durham City today. Raised 260pounds for Macmillan Cancer support as part of the great Uk coffee morning. Really pleased, met some lovely people , itās amazing how cancer affects so many of us in the community, and on my last day of Ibrance before the week off thought

Zometa & Faslodex
After seeing onc today, Iāve been told no more ibranceā¦ instead zometa & faslodex only. Iām an emotional wreck, I donāt understand why she has changed her mind. Am I on a slippery road now? Should I be worried, Should I get a second opinion, or should I just try this new combination? I feel so low. I

Taking an OTC for immediate relief?
Can anyone tell me: I'm on Faslodex, Ibrance, Xgeva. I have a bacterial bladder infection (getting antibiotic today!). Does anyone know of any reasons to NOT take Uristat Ultra UTI Pain Relief Tablets until the pain and burning and continual urination stops? (Due to interactions with MBC meds) Thank

11 years ago I had a mastectomy on my right breast, and followed up with 7 weeks of radiation. All was well...then in May I was short of breath and my primary Doctor said it was COPD? Well I questioned that and demanded a lung xray. That is when involvement in a lymph node was found, and then after

Thank you!
To everyone who responded to my Ibrance treatment post, a giant thank you! I saw a new oncologist last week who is going to be great I think, but he told me some things about my cancers that I never realized. I have ductal and lobular. Maybe it was just one of those weeks where the severity of all

Has anyone had their oncologist push back about reducing the Ibrance RX from 125 to 100. My understanding is that they R equally effective.

Anyone *not* lose hair while on Ibrance?
Hi, after waiting a year for my hair to grow back, it finally has started to. Iāve got about 3 inches of new growth, and itās much thicker (and wilder) than before half of it fell out, but Iāll take it! I had low WBC when I began the last round of new treatments, so my doctor took me off 125 Ibrance

Thinning hair on Ibrance
After being on Ibrance 125g for 7 months my hair which has always been very fine, has noticeably thinned. Have any of you ladies had this happen? Ibrance and Anastrazole are the only two drugs Iāve been on since starting this journey.

Elevated heart rate.
Morning all. I have noticed my heart rate running quite fast even during the night. This is a new one for me. I was diagnosed a fib in Jan and take Verapimil and Apixaban. My question is should I try and talk to my gp (if I can) or battle on. Waiting for CV but now just getting a call in Oct. Many thanks
