Tumor Marker Confusion
Hi all!! Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Here's my question, has anyone had a rising and high CA 15-3 with a normal CEA marker test result? My CA 15-3 has been rising steadily for over 2 years. It never got to a normal level after starting treatment (Ibrance, Letrozole, Xgeva). Before any

Ibrance and/or long term port & Blood Clots?
Hi, Got out of the hospital after having a thrombectomy for superior vena cava syndrome. I had a dvt that completely blocked off my blood flow from my head to my heart. Scary! Scarier because I was suffering with a swollen head for 6 months before any dr took me seriously. Been on Ibrance 4 ½ years

Covid and Sinus Rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopy
Hi, Since my very successful ablation in November 20 I have been in normal sinus rhythm. I have contracted Covid, and have flu like symptoms. My Kardia (Advanced Determination) now reports I have Sinus Rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopy. I know that Covid can induce heart arrythmias, is this something

Goodbye to Ibrance . Gutted but not surprised.
After my recent plural effusion and IPC catheter op I asked for an urgent scan and review as they were going to put me back on Ibrance . Just had appt with oncologist today and scan shows a new area small of breast cancer on chest and couple of suspicious areas on liver. Bones stable. I was given couple

Ibrance = Colitis?
Hello Warriors- I’ve been on Ibrance and Letrozole since March of 2020. I’m just getting over my second bout with Colitis. My Dr had me stop Ibrance until I’ve recovered. He said it can be a direct cause of this very painful disease. Has anybody had this experience. Have a blessed day!

Capecitabine - new treatment
Hi all MRI shows good response to liver and femur on fulvestrant and zometa, but highlighted an underarm issue a month or so ago. Following guided core biopsy and comparing last MRI to most recent one, onc decided to switch to Cape. My 3rd line of treatment since 2020, she said I could continue on fulvestrant

AF, ablation and odd heart rhythms
I had an ablation for AF in Dec. Since the procedure I have only experienced one short 3 min run of AF, but my heart has been very unsettled over the last five months. Recently, I've been suffering bouts of tachycardia (140 BPM for a minute or two is about as bad as it gets) at night, which are manageable

Glad I've stayed positive!
Just to say ladies, that after two years on letrozole and ibrance, and feeling so much better, I've been on my first foreign holiday since early 2020. I've had five vaccines and wear a high grade mask and look after myself. I went with my partner to the Spanish Pyrenees for a walking holiday. I was

Right Sided Pacemaker
I had a pacemaker inserted last year for sick sinus syndrome. Unfortunately it got infected and had to be removed. I found the whole thing very traumatic. Unfortunately had a four hour episode of low heart rate the other evening so might have to reconsider having another fitted which of course would

Proton Pump Inhibitors / Ibrance interaction
One of the key phrases we want to hear every three months is 'No progression'. The longer we can get out of a particular line of treatment the better. So I was somewhat alarmed to read various reports which show that proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole and lansoprazole can significantly affect

CT Scan Results
Hi ladies, I have my coffee and read every morning all questions but barely ask questions. Today I have a question, I’m in Canada and get my basic 15 minutes with my oncologist. When I leave I ask for a copy of CT scan results. This time when I read it, all it mentioned was previous evidence of mastectomy

Spread to colon
Hello, I am freaking out. I just read my scans and it appears that my MBC has spread to my colon. I am on fulvestron and Ibrance. ( 7 months). My original cancer was lobular. Just wondering if anyone has had it spread to bowels and what they did. I have a DR appointment today so I guess I

LVH by voltage, right bundle branch block and sinus arrhythmia
Hey Iv been told I have the above after a long few months of feeling unwell my gp referred me for ct, ecg and echo all came back clear except the ecg showed the above . Should I be worried with the above as heart problems do run in my immediate family (hence why I was referred for the tests) I didn’t
