A cautionary Flecainide tale
Brief history, I had two ablations in 2019, the second one being in Sept. I'm currently 56 and like exercise. Since 2019 I stopped competing and training for triathlon and knocked everything back loads. Around Oct 21 I noticed arrhythmias, looking back on my notes it mostly seemed to start with atrial

What is role of hormonal therapy drug when taken with targeted therapy, eg Piqray or Ibrance?
I’ve been curious about this and wondering if anyone can explain. I want to better understand the role of the hormone therapy eg Faslodex when taken with targeted therapy such as Ibrance. Does it just reduce the amount of estrogen available to the cell and “lightens the load” on the targeted therapy?

Update on PET scan
Hi everyone, I posted yesterday about my dad having a PET scan today. His last pet scan in July showed some progression to the right chest wall after being NED for a full year. They wanted to keep him on his current meds- Ibrance and Letrozole- and re-scan today, in september. Results have already

No longer in NED.
I am freaking out right now. Right before I decide to celebrate with friends for my 5 year milestone, the cancer is active again and I feel defeated. I want to cancel the party next week. It’s all very overwhelming. I am ER/PR pos, HER2 neg. I’m in a lot of pain and although I am awaiting a chest

Starting Kisquali and Injections
Progression after being on Ibrance for two years…CT scans didn’t show any cancer progression. I had one small area that the Urologist found to be inflammation so…I had a PET and found many new areas of metastasized areas. Why are CT scans so unreliable? Kind of scares me now. I would like to hear from

thoughts 🙏
hi everyone, my dad has had MBC since June of 2022. He has been on Ibrance, letrozole, lupron, and xjeva. His Mets were to bone and then he was NED for a year from June 2022 to June 2023. In July he took a PET scan and it showed a slight uptake of activity to his chest wall. Plan was to keep him on

Pills Can Cause More Problems
Here's my story: I've had AF for 18 years and have certainly suffered over that time. After 3 ablations and still having arrhythmia which included the following info copied from ECG July 2022 :
Atrial flutter with variable AV block with premature ventricular or aberrantly conducted complexes[

Pace and ablate for atrial tachycardia?
Just wondering..... The evidence here and elsewhere suggests that pace and ablate comprises a good option for many of those folks in later life who have very symptomatic persistent/permanent AF and for whom cardioversion no longer works. We also know that one or more ablations, whilst on the face of

Hope at last
Hi well after five years of suffering with the most intense burning, agitation, painful genitalia, lack of sleep I finally have a diagnosis of neuropathy. I was referred to a Gynaecologist and after a month received a letter saying there would be a two year wait just to be seen. We decided that I should

Ibrance and your hair
It's taken nearly 5 years, that's how long I've been on Ibrance and letrazole, but now my hair is an absolute disaster . Any advice from anyone? Also I get easily short of breath and suffer dreadful fatigue. I feel I shouldn't complain cos I have no changes on my cat scans.

Why do I feel so rundown on ibrance?
Hello, I am a breast cancer survivor, stage 4, her2- , estrogen and progesterone positive.I was on Ibrance and letrozole for around 2 yrs. I was told the pills usually only last 9 months. Almost Depends on the person. Every time I have my labs done my white count and neutrophils were too low.

Long term survivors taking ibrance
I just started Ibrance and letrozole. I would love to hear from people that have had success with this combo for 4+ years.

Genomics
HI all, After a progression 2 years on Arimadex, Ibrance my dear partner has had a liver biopsy and we are doing genomics testing, around $3.3k. 500 gene plate? Awaiting results but after a second opinion , (lady Onc, more caring, smart) Fulvescant has been prescribed. The other prescribed Tamoxifen

Burned Nerves for Spinal Stenosis..
Morning everyone, I had a temporary nerve block the other day in 6 points around my spine. It seemed to work, the surgeon mentioned the next step would be to burn the nerves but this would only give 6 months - 1 year of relief. I just wondered if anybody here has had this done?

I recently took a bad fall and fractured my upper arm in several places. From X-rays and Ct. scan so far it does not appear cancer related. Had two
