Has anyone had long term success with Ibrance and Letrozole for liver mets? I only have mets to my liver.

Ibrance and Letrozole
Two years with mets to liver, nodes, lung and bone. Lung and nodes cleared up, no longer visible. Liver has been progressively shrinking or stable each scan so far. Bones were stable until last scan - end of Aug - but one small new spot showed up in femur and I had it zapped so hopefully can stay on same meds. Will likely have another scan in 6-8 weeks. --Trish
Diagnosed july 2018 with 4 liver mets, 6 spine mets, original tumor left breast. So far, always took & still taking Ibrance, Letrozole, Xgeva. Liver mets had all disappeared after 1 year. Spine mets have been gradually shrinking and disappeared over the past 5 years. Breast tumor cannot be found since one year. I'm NED. Also healthy vegan and walk daily. Trust your body & mind. Stay strong.
Do check on your liver functioning measures in your bloodwork. The liver is a large organ so cancer mets there do not necessarily make a difference to your overall health. However, it seems Ibrance and letrozole may make you feel very rundown!
I have extensive mets in my bones, lungs, skin, spleen and liver. Treatment with ribociclib and letrozole seems to keep the mets from growing so I continue on them. However, since all the bloodwork measures of my liver functioning are in the normal range, I avoided surgery on my liver.
If I only had liver mets, I would ask my oncologist whether surgery could remove them to stop them from spreading. If that could not be done, but my liver measures remained normal, I would ask for frequent follow-ups to check for any spread of cancer to other organs. Otherwise, I would simply follow good health guidelines.
I think it is becoming more and more obvious that cancer and the aging of body organs are related. Depending on one's age, it may be wise to avoid toxic cancer treatments if at all possible.
