EDAC

Hi All,

Just had a copy of report from pulmonary consultant to my GP on my bronchoscopy, but not samples result.

I said that I have EDAC at subsegmental level. affecting both lungs. It was technically difficult for BAL due to collapsing airways, however it was obtained and awaiting samples result.

What does this mean? As usual GP not really up on pulmonary matters.

Phone BLF helpline Annie..As far as I can understand it seems they have had trouble to get to the root of the problem because of your airways but they managed it somehow and you have to wait for the results taken from samples..

So wait and see..how are you feeling??

Hi Fran,

How are you more like, have been following your posts but have not had the energy to reply.

As you know I have a schizophrenic adult son and he consumes much of my energy and dictates how life goes really. Poor thing.

As for me yes, BLF but just want to see what the samples reveal. In the meantime I just keep busy, well as busy as can be.

Was so pleased you got to the ballet...what a wonderful experience.

Will keep in touch, but out of 'sight' is not out of mind.

You know I use health imagery, well I use the album Caregiver Stress when I need to..Belleruth Naparstek. I used caring for Dad, Mum and my Bea who has had her load of disease and is not out of it.

Waiting for results is difficult.
